Intro

AV Erotica is a softcore glamour photography and video site from Anton Volkov. As you can tell by his name the European angle is also in play here as most of the models are Russian. Content style is on par with what you would expect for a site of this kind with ultra high-res photos and HD quality videos. He's been at it for a number of years so he has a decent sized archive in place particularly when it comes to pictures. The guest tour is quite informative with samples that give visitors a good feel for the models and style of material that is available to members.

The Pros

Exclusive Glamour Softcore Photography/Videos, Euro Models.

Volkov has as solid collection for surfers who like Russian models and he incorporates a lot of outdoor settings which is also interesting. This stuff is stylish and fitting an experienced photographer in terms of the production value. The vast majority of shoots are solo model with a little bit of girl/girl in the mix although that's definitely more of the softcore teasing variety.

Ultra High-Res Photos, Zip Files, HD Level Videos.

As glamour photography sites should do AV Erotica delivers nicely in terms of the content quality and options. The photos have huge and very high-res 5616x3744 on many scenes and even the ones from years back still are around 4368x2912 or 3504x2336. Those are for the largest size and each gallery has three pic sizes to choose from with online and zips for each level. The videos include HD DivX 1280x720 along with standard-def WMV and MOV for additional options.

Steady Updates, Daily Gallery Additions, Nice Track Record.

The chronological month/year browsing shows a long history of daily updates reaching back a number of years. They do add one new photo gallery per day and then the videos are 2 to 3 scenes per month.

Other Good Stuff:

Navigation has the standard tools for this type of photography site with a year/month chronological listing, separate videos page, and model index.
Clear file size details are posted for all the video downloads as well as the gallery zips. They also provide running time length on the videos.
Members can post feedback/comments on the shoots and models. There is some but not a lot of activity on this feature.

The Cons

No Videos for Some Models, Number of Shoots Really Varies.

When browsing the model index you'll find quite a range of shoots available depending which girl you're looking at. Some have numerous photo sets and multiple videos however I ran into a lot of girls without any videos available at all. Some of the models just have 1 or 2 galleries and that's all. Things can be hit-and-miss in that way. Overall the videos section and updates here are definitely secondary to the photography part of the site.

In-Active Webmaster & Model Blogs, No Recent Posts There.

It seems that in earlier days the idea was to have some webmaster and model blogs going for more of a personal touch. The Blog link still appears on the header however the actual posts there stopped a couple years back. You'd think at least the photographer could keep on top of that but I guess that's not the case.

Minor Negatives:

There is no streaming in-browser video player so you do need to download the videos in order to view them.
The model bios are a bit sparse. Also, when looking at an individual model pages her shoots are dated with the day/month only without the year.

The other

The webmaster has some books available to purchase of his erotic photography. There is a link with details on those on the navigation header.

For the most part AV Erotica delivers nicely in the areas you want them to by having the excellent high-res photos with multiple sizes and zips files. The videos are a smaller part of the site however they also reach HD quality. Pictures updates come daily and then the videos are a few times per month. A solid glamour softcore site particularly for surfers who like Russian models and/or outdoor shoot locations.
