Intro

Hopefully you know a little bit about San Diego before coming to this site. SD Boy focuses on gay men from the San Diego area, and is our site up for review today. San Diego is close to Mexico, so expect some Latino men. San Diego is also home to some surfer boys, and some military bases, so expect to see them as well. What they do promise is bareback gay action (though that's not 100% true - see the list of cons) featuring two or more men hooking up together. $25 a month gets you in the door, plus full access to the Gay Porn Mega Sites network of sites.

The Pros

Exclusive bareback gay porn.

The whole theme here will definitely be a big draw for the site. No matter your love or hate for the city of San Diego, they still offer bareback gay porn scenes, which are rather unique on their own. Expect 2-3 guys hooking up in pretty standard action, sans condoms (most of the time).

Pretty large site.

With over 300 video scenes up currently, and almost as many photo galleries, the site is definitely not too small at all. There's enough here to keep you busy for a while, and it was larger than expected for me. Add in the network access, and you'll be all set for a while.

Quality needs work.

Man, what a bummer. There's a lot to see, and the content seems rather current, but the quality is definitely below average, by quite a bit if you ask me. The videos just look small and grainy, and maybe they aren't as new as I was thinking. They need to bump the quality up in a big way here if they want to stay relevant.

Navigation isn't great.

This one isn't as big of a deal, but it's definitely noticeable. The site seems a bit dated overall, both in terms of design, and in the lack of navigation options. You just kinda browse around until you find something interesting without the help of anything like a search, categories, etc.

Minor Negatives:

I don't think they're in the majority, but I definitely saw at least one scene where a guy had a condom on. They make a pretty big deal of the bareback theme, so that was disappointing to see.

Bottom Line

A decent-sized collection of some good gay porn, but a few upgrades are in order.

SD Boy is definitely not a bad site at all overall. There's plenty to see, they update regularly, and they offer unique, exclusive content. My biggest complaint is the poor quality overall, even for the newer content. If they could bump that up quite a bit higher, things would be a lot better. Along those lines, a site redesign would help as well, as that feels pretty dated as well. I think it could be a fun visit for you, but just know going in that everything is just a little behind the times here so you aren't too disappointed.
