Intro

18 Closeup brings together a few niches for their concept including teen, closeup action, and high-def videos. Other things in the mix include masturbation, toy/insertion play, and a little bit of lesbian action. It's worth noting right off the bat that there are different membership levels corresponding to their three video quality levels: HD 1920x1080, HDV 1280x720, and SD. It's more expensive to join with access to the higher levels. Beyond that the guest tour has a nice sampling of the content style and models that makes for a good overview.

The Pros

Exclusive Closeup Videos, Cute Models in Masturbation Action.

The models are a great mix of cute and sexy chicks that fit right in with the young adult teen theme and they also bring a European flair to the mix. They deliver nicely on closeup action with stripping, posing, masturbation, and pussy play being prominently featured. Beyond that there is toy/insertion play and some scenes with lesbian sex. All-in-all it's a solid collection of exclusive content that blends the closeup specialty theme with the more common teen genre.

The three quality levels in place include HD 1920x1080, HDV 1280x720, and SD 640x360. As I mentioned in my intro the different membership levels are in place but really the high-def videos here are a big selling point. High-def works great for this mostly solo model closeup theme so it's a definite plus. Consistency is also something I noticed as the quality options are steady throughout the collection.

Other Good Stuff:

Quantity is solid with over seventy models and hundreds of scenes. The site has been around for a number of years and there's a good track record of updates and growth.
There is a 'models' page with thumbnail preview pictures of all the girls. Their individual pages include some personal stat info.
There are a small number of girl/girl lesbian scens which spices things up in addition to the solo girl action.

The Cons

One Video Format, Shoots in Parts & Download Limit.

These are a few items that you should pay attention to with regard to the video set-up. The only one format in place is AVI. Models have their scenes broken into parts with no full-shoot files available. While those would be quite large full-episode files at over one or two GB aren't uncommon nowadays. No in-browser streaming format is in place. Finally there is a download limit that's noted above in TBP's site facts and also on their FAQ page: 4GB per session and 7.5GB per day.

Basic Design, No Type-of-Action Browsing, So-So Model Index.

Navigation revolves around the updates and models pages. I found no way to browse or search the collection by type of action like toys, solo, lesbian, etc. Also, the models page isn't sortable and doesn't have any filter options. While it's not difficult to get around I'd like to see some additional tools since there is a pretty good sized archive in place.

Minor Negatives:

There are different membership levels with access to the HD quality videos costing more than the basic standard-def option.
They do have video screenshots for image galleries however there aren't any actual dedicated photos.
Model bios could be improved as they are relatively sparse. They don't publish the country of origin which would have been interesting for these girls.

The other

Some videos are now available in M4V portable format for iPods/iPhones. These are available for all membership levels and there's actually a link for portable surfers from the guest tour main page with more info.

18 Closeup does nicely to deliver on their stated theme as their models fit nicely with the young adult teen concept and they have high-def videos in place. There are a few things that chip away at the value including the one video format, multiple membership levels, and download limit. All of these are bit unusual to see nowadays and they might annoy some users. Still, this closeup concept is also itself a fairly unique specialty so there is real value in the content because of that. These guys have been around for a few years which gives them a nice track record of continued updates and it%u2019s a good assumption they%u2019ll continue this on into the future.
