Intro

Desperate Amateurs promises true first timers; girls who are desperate for cash. You will find girls of all ages, ethnicity, shapes and sizes here without digression. Apparently Desperate Amateurs started off as a simple blowjob site, but full sex scenes are now being shot and new content is added weekly. A membership here will set you back about $20 bucks, and if you choose a recurring membership the price drops to just $18. Currently there are about 75 videos to check out.

The Pros

Original Amateur Contnet.

I loved, loved, loved the content here. These are real amateurs, shy & natural but sexual, sensual and the scenes that follow are as good as it gets when it comes to amateur porno. There are many blowjob scenes, a few girl-girl and some couples in there as well. About 18 or so of the girls even come back for return shoots. Each shoot comes with a lengthy descriptions, some small but good quality digital images and a video.

Other Good Stuff:

All scenes that I looked at were WMV clips. I can't speak for the older content, but all scenes I could find were WMV clips offering bitrates up to 1500k (640x480). They looked really nice. They played in full for the most part, although older scenes appear to be broken down into interview, blowjob, etc.
The site design looks more like a blog theme than a porn site. Content can be browsed by category, the latest scene, or by a list of girls who have appeared more than once on the site.
The recurring membership price drops after the first month.
Clear file size and run-time information is posted for each video.

The Cons

Quality Could Still Be Better.

First of all, I'd love for the digital images to be offered in full-size and as an actual gallery shoot. That aside, the video quality could stand to be boosted up a notch. While they're holding strong where they are for now, this won't last much longer as most sites these days have gone HD.

Minor Negatives:

Something odd I notice worth mentioning is that in her review of Desperate Amateurs, Maggie commented on there only being 69 videos total (47 of which actually being exclusive). Her review was written almost 6 months ago and to date there are just 75 videos online. Based on those numbers alone it would appear as though updates aren't being added quite as often as it seems, or they've done away with the non-exclusive content and have been working on beefing up their exclusives section. Either way, it's worth mentioning.
Missing for me is a complete model index with bios and a way to browse all of the content in chronological order with date stamps. In general the content could be a little better organized to make getting around less cumbersome.
WMV in 1 quality format is your only option for download. There are no Flash streams or alternate quality/file-type formats.

Bottom Line

Real amateurs & couples in first-time and return blowjob/sex scenes.

I definitely enjoyed the content here, but would like to see a few improvements in terms of site design/browse-ability and quality. A model index at the very least would give users a little more information about the girls and an alternative way to browse the content. Listing the complete archive in chronological format would also give users an idea of how often content is and has been updated over time. With that said, this is still an interesting site with true amateurs in blowjob, girl-girl and couple sex scenes. The lower recurring price tag is a nice touch.
