Intro

Devils Film is a DVD download site that is built around this one production company's movies. It's also part of the Fame Digital Network which includes access to other studio collections, individual pornstars, and niche sites. With Devils Film the site could actually function okay as a standalone entity as there is enough content so the included network is a good bonus and not something that the site relies on. The guest tour has a good amount of samples so visitors can get a feel for what titles, series, and scenes are available.

The Pros

Hundreds of Full-Length DVDs, Thousands of Scenes in Many Niches.

As a studio site I expect this to be a sizable collection however not as massive as a general movie download site with content from many studios. Devils Film has a solid amount with many hundreds of full DVDs which equals several thousand individual scenes. The titles hit on all sorts of popular niches and it's a collection geared towards a general hardcore audience.

Good Quality Full-Scene WMV Downloads & Flash Streaming.

Consistency is a plus here in terms of formatting with full-scene WMV downloadable files and Flash in-browser streaming. These are steady throughout the collection. Newest movies have an additional high-res Flash quality level in addition to the other standard two quality options.

Steady Updates, Long Track Record of Growth.

Update information is posted on each individual scene. The dates go back to mid-2006 giving them several years of history. At the time of this review the update pace is one new scene every three days so growth is likely to continue.

The Cons

The HD Movies Section is Fairly Small & HD Files are Flash Streams.

High Definition is something that's noted on he tour and newer updates in the member's area are stamped with and 'HD' tag. There are a couple items about this that surfers should be aware of. First, the amount of movies with that HD level is only a small percent of the overall collection. Secondly, the HD is for the Flash streaming and not for the downloadable files. These things detract from the value the high-def movies add to the collection.

Just One Movie Format for Downloading, Only Two Quality Choices.

Even though this is a dedicated studio site there is room for additional movie download formats. Nowadays more and more sites are upgrading with higher quality movies and in multiple formats. The one upgrade these guys have made is to add the HD Flash quality level. Adding another download format might be a better upgrade.

Minor Negatives:

Download managers may run up against some limitations. I got 1-channel capablitity with IDM through IE browser.
There are some upsells in the member's area and join page cross-sells.
The niche browsing doesn't provide very good filtering. Any semi-related scene seems to be lumped in to the list.

Bottom Line

Devils Film has lots of downloadable hardcore DVD's from this studio plus network access.

This is a well rounded collection of hardcore movies even though it%u2019s from a single studio. The positives outweigh the negatives here as they do well in terms of quantity and variety while there's room for improvement in the downloading format variety and HD movie setup. This is a quality site on its own and the included network is an extra bonus to pay attention to as well.
