The site could definitely use some growth. Although Vintage Bareback has been online for four years, there's still not a huge collection. There are currently 125 galleries and 95 videos online. While this is fairly unique niche material, they are pulling non-exclusive content from a two decade span, so certainly they can find more than 7,500 images and 95 videos to post.
None of the scenes are updated and there's no update log. The blog actually is relatively up to date (the last entry was two months ago, but still) so it seems like it's possible the site is still active, but with no firm dates it's hard to say for sure.
There are no zip downloads for the photo galleries.
There are quite a few ads in the member's area which made for some cluttered pages.
The quality here isn't great. You should probably expect that coming into the site, since the material is all at least 40 years old, but just keep in mind that HD this is not.
These are, of course, non-exclusive scenes. These clips were pulled from old porn movies that you could, in theory, find on other similar sites.
Vintage Bareback offers up an unusual look at the history of gay porn. The collection is unique and entertaining. However, it loses points because it really lacks some important user features. The lack of downloadable movies certainly hurts, as does the lack of update info and small site. Still, the price is reasonable if you want to try it out for a month. The retro site won't be for everyone, but if you're interested in gay porn of yesteryear, Vintage Bareback is worth a visit.
