Strictly Broadband is a pay-per-view video site featuring thousands of DVDs for your on-demand enjoyment. This is a British run website, so there are special touches throughout that make the site stand out from other similar sites, including some different categories and video series. The entire collection is browseable to guests, so you may want to see for yourself.
They%u2019ve got thousands of DVDs to choose from. There are currently over 8,500 full-length DVDs in their collection. They've got movies in all the mainstream categories (facials, gangbangs, big tits, teens, etc), along with some more unusual titles. It was really interesting to see an entire category dedicated to Big Brother (you know, the reality show) and the babes who became porno actresses after their appearances.
Getting around is fairly easy. In addition to categories, you can browse by actress and studio and there's also a keyword search. Each scene offers category tags that make easy to jump to similar scenes that you may enjoy. There%u2019s also a "Favourites" folder where you can save the scenes you like most.
There is a small section of high definition movies if you're looking for higher quality scenes.
Each DVD has a boxcover, list of stars, list of categories, run time, and user-rating. You also get the cast list for each individual scene.
All of the videos play in browser. When you purchase access to a movie, you get to watch it for 14 days. You must pay to access it again. It's a bummer that you're paying $8 for a single movie and you don't even get to hold onto it permanently.
I can't say I was impressed with the quality of these scenes. The play in browser in a small-medium Flash window and most could have been much sharper. I would expect better-looking scenes from a company drawing entirely from professional DVD content.
None of the content here is exclusive. That should be expected on a DVD archive site like this, and in fact, finding your favorite movies is part of the fun. However, just keep in mind that you won't find anything original here.
The scenes aren't dated so I can't say for sure when or if updates are coming to the site.
With a slightly different UK take on things, Strictly Broadband does stand out a bit from other DVD archives. Overall, though, for regular mainstream titles, I just don't see going with a pay-per-view join over standard paysite. Why pay $8 to rent a single movie when you could pay $20 or so and actually download hundreds? However, if you're looking for something unique that Strictly Broadband offers, then by all means check out. The site and videos are all entertaining enough to be worth a try.
