TBP has had Saffy's site listed for a number of years and we did have a review from back when it was newly launched. Now she's been online for about five years and the total number of shoots is well over a hundred for both the pic galleries and videos. I also like that it's fairly balanced with roughly an equal amount of galleries and videos.
Full-Scene WMV Files for Most Videos, Pic Gallery Zip Files.
Downloading options aren't overly fancy but the basics are in place. The bulk of the videos (those since late '07 are in downloadable full-scene WMV files. Photo galleries can be viewed online or saved in zips. Looking back thru the archive it seems that zips are in place for every gallery dating back to even the oldest shoots.
Download speeds were quite speedy for me as I was getting around 1.2MB/sec which is better than I see from most paysites. It doesn't take long to save these video files which average around 50-75MB each.
The monthly price is reasonable, there is a non-recurring option, and she bills thru CCBill.
Average Content Quality, Could Use Additional Video Options.
The amateur style of the site does bleed over into the quality levels on both the pictures and videos. Pictures top out at around 1050x785 for newer sets and the older ones are more like 800x600. The videos have okay specs of about 1500k 720x576. Older videos are only in MPEG format and those are at lower levels. No in-browser streaming format is offered and I would have liked to have seen maybe just one more format for the downloads especially on the newer content.
Not Much Interaction Beyond Email, Mostly Just a Pic/Vid Site.
As it stands now Saffy essentially has just a picture and video site going. The interaction seems to have come and gone for the most part as I did find a link to a chat board which hasn't gotten posts in a couple years. A live cam section doesn't have a schedule and from what I gathered it's mostly PPV private stuff. Simply contacting Saffy by email seems to be the one interaction feature that is ongoing.
