(recurring)I love retro porn sites! When it comes to porn, Old school classics never get "old", if you ask me. At the time of this review, Retro Porn Flix is somewhat of a new site I think, but it already houses more than 563 DVD's and new updates are promised weekly. The challenge for any kind of retro DVD site is to deliver quality videos and it looks like they've done a pretty good job overall. A membership here will set you back close to $20 bucks per month.
Does it get any better than this? Who doesn't love a good classic porno film? The stuff you looked at as teenagers, or snuck a peek at as kids when the parents were away. Retro Porn Flix has got a pretty good collection of all your old school favorites, and probably one of the largest collections I've seen. My favorite were the Alice In Wonderland videos from 1976!
Quality can be pretty good at times. I was actually impressed by the quality of some of the scenes here. Of course they show their age, but some (a smaller %) scenes offered real sharp picture quality and decent bitrate specs.
DVD date, title information and video specs are all listed for each scene.
The set-up here is simple, too simple. All titles are listed in alphabetical order, but that's it! There are no alternate forms of browsing such as a model index, categories, date, etc. You're one and only download option is in AVI format.
Unfortunately some of these movies are so old that the quality just can't be matched to todays' standards. The picture quality often times looks washed out and the sound isn't always the best. But then again, would anything else bring you back to the old school the same? In terms of bitrates, I found them to be fairly consistent. It's the sizing that was often times substandard (320x240).

No matter how its being showcased, I'll always have a soft-spot for retro porn. Unfortunately Retro Porn Flix leaves a lot to be desired as an actual paysite. Sure they house more than 558 old school classic DVD's, but in terms of user/download options and design, well there just isn't much to it. Not to say that site isn't still work a look. I enjoyed my time here. It's just important to know what you can, or more importantly, can't expect from the Retro Porn Flix member's area.
