The allure of the online personals site is always to find folks for real life encounters and Meetup 4 Sex delivers just that. Scroll through their list of guys and girls checking out pictures, reading profiles, and maybe sending an email or two along the way. These look like real people who could actually be up for a good time.
User features include the option to save someone to your hotlist and to view who has added you to their list.
At $69 a year, that works out to just $6 a month. That's not bad at all.
With just under 3,000 members, Meetup 4 Sex is awfully small. The odds of meeting someone who fits your criteria and lives near you are quite slim. Hell, even on the sites with 4 million members it seems the odds are not in your favor. You'd have to get pretty lucky with these figures.
Most ad sites offer some sort of videos or bonus material to keep you busy when you're not perusing the member listings. There's really nothing like that here. You get a couple thousand member photos and that's it.
You can email members here that interest you but that's about it. There's no forum, there's no chatroom, there's no way to send flirts or kisses or pokes. It's a simple email system and nothing more.
The design here is very basic. It felt quite amateurish.
While Meetup 4 Sex does have a homegrown vibe that is somewhat intriguing, overall the site is simply too small. There's not enough going on here, either in terms of member counts or interactive features. The good news is that the price is low if you decide to stick around. Still, I'm not sure it's worth that initial outlaw when you could make it through their entire member database so quickly.
