This hub site Maxx Res has a model index, update log, and functions as a compilation of all the content plus some that seems to be housed just here that's labeled 'Maxx Res'. The guest tour will give you a pretty good feel for the layout and guests can look through the model index and different sites so that's rather informative. The content is a mix of solo model action along with girl/guy hardcore and girl/girl lesbian sex.
Overall Maxx Res as a network would be considered a general site with a mix of solo model softcore and hardcore action. Babette's Busty Passion focuses in on big boob models but the style of the shoots there fits in with the rest of the collection. The models are mostly white with a few black, asian, and other ethnic girls in the mix and overall the girls fit in to the pro and semi-pro style with some that have more of an amateur look. There are a lot of pictures available, thousands in all, and hundreds of total video scenes.
Maxx Res has consistent movie formatting with the basics covered. Scenes are available in full-video WMV and QT formats along with WMV clip segments. Newer movies (about 25%) have HD quality with specs at 1920x1080 4200k so those are impressive and it's a definite selling point. Photos can be viewed online or saved in zip files with small and large quality zips offered. Pictures mostly hover around ~2050x1360 in size so they are high-resolution.
Navigation options include the Maxx Res network hub site with an alphabetical model index plus the ability to visit and browse each site individually.
Download speeds are above average as I was getting around 900kb to 1MB/sec which is better than I see from most paysites. They post clear file size details on the videos and gallery zips.
Update details are stamped on each content item and they do have a dedicated update log page with a breakdown by day and site.
These were a couple of the navigation items that I really felt were missing. The model index and site browsing make for useful tools but I wanted to zero in on just the video content or even more specifically HD videos but sections aren't available for those. No niche breakdown by solo, toy, girl/guy, lesbian, etc are also not provided. With so many models and content in place some additional tools would have helped. On the individual sites there is a list of niches however that is actually an advertisement link for review stuff so I thought I'd found it at first but then was disappointed.
While the HD specs are available on the newer videos it's fair to point out the bulk of the movies have more standard-def specs. The WMV/QT format is the same but the quality is more average. They could also use some additional options like different quality choices for the formats and/or some in-browser Flash streaming.
The design has a lot of cross-over between the members and guest areas. When browsing I found myself prompted to re-enter my login on several occasions.
The amount and type of content varies quite a bit from model-to-model. Also, for some reason many of the scenes are dated 2009. 2010-11 items seem much rarer as I browsed the model index and sites.
The main assets of Maxx Res are that it has a nice sized archive with a mix of solo & hardcore action. The inclusion of HD level videos is a nice asset and they do have two levels of zip files for the photo sets which are also good to see. They could make things more user-friendly by adding more navigation tools and create a better division between the tour and member's area side as I found the layout to be somewhat confusing. Overall though the positives outweigh the negatives and it's a decent network with a good sized archive even though there are a small number of total network sites.
