(recurring)HD Internet Hookups is a hardcore reality site that is part of the Reality Pass HD network. The two things emphasized here are the high-def videos and the original content. On the flip side of that the site really didn't go far in terms of updates or activity. There are just over a dozen total episodes with bonus DVD, video, and photo gallery content making up the rest of the member's area. The site was launched back in '08 which was the back end of the reality porn craze so perhaps that played a part in the updates stopping so soon after the site went live.
The main content here is a collection of exclusive reality/video episodes with guy/girl and girl/girl hardcore and online hookup theme. They're fully developed scenes at about 30 minute long. Along with the videos photo galleries are included on the episodes with nice quality pics (~1600x1067 or 1200x800) that can be viewed online or saved as zips.
Internet Hookups' best feature is the video quality and overall options. The episodes are indeed offered in WMV and QT at 4000k 1280x720 with full-episode files. They also have more standard quality levels for both of the formats along with in-browser Flash streaming.
Network access is included with membership to the HD Reality Pass collection.
There just aren't very much exclusive content with just over a dozen total shoots. There is actually more extra bonus content like DVDs and picture galleries that overshadows what should be the main stuff from this company. Generally you'd like to see at least triple the number of episodes and probably more for a site like this.
This item goes hand-in-hand with the previous bullet point about the amount of content. Really the site was launched a few years back and then only stayed active for less than a year before they stopped adding new stuff. It's just stayed as-is for a long time without any activity.
These high-def movies come in at around 700MB to 1GB in size which is about what you'd expect for that quality and length of episodes. Downloads are average as I got around 700KB/sec so saving does take some time. My download manager IDM didn't work here except for 1-channel with no pause/resume so that isn't really an option to save the content.
There are quite a number of member area banner ads and upsells.
The most noteworthy items at HD Internet Hookups are easy to point out. The small number of episodes and lack of updates make the overall collection rather unimpressive while the HD quality movies are the main positive feature. It seems we can mark this down as another of those network reality sites that was added to a company collection and then quickly became ignored after that. Since so much time has passed since the last update there just isn't much going on here right now.
