(recurring)Electro Films is up for review today, and it's really hard to categorize what they offer here exactly. It boils down to amateur porn, but the scenes vary quite a bit from one to the next. One may feature a girl playing with herself in a cheap motel room, while another may feature closeups of a girl smoking, and others feature more average POV sex scenes. Everything kinda has a new age feel to it to start, but it often ends up being a pretty average amateur scene in the end. $30 a month gets you in the door.
The specs are really nice on the newest MP4 videos. They come in at a huge widescreen 1080p high definition setup. The only real thing holding them back is lackluster lighting and coloring, which comes from the setup and camera I believe. Otherwise, they're trying, and the specs are there. Some of the older videos come in a more standard 720p WMV video, but also suffer similar lighting and color issues.
Their content seems to be all-exclusive here from what I can tell.
They don't have any dates on anything, so figuring out the updates is pretty difficult. However, according to our own content counts, they stopped updating a few months ago. They never really updated a ton to begin with it looks like, but not adding anything new is not going to help their situation here.
They try, which makes it all the more unfortunate. Many videos come in HD specs, but something is just missing. I'm not sure if it's the new age color thing they're trying to go for, but everything feels washed out and poorly lit. It's like something turned down the contrast. It doesn't help that many shoots are in cheap hotel rooms, with lackluster locations to begin with.
The latest videos are just too large in terms of file size. You're talking about 3-4gb videos that just don't warrant it. I've seen fantastic video come out of a 1gb 1080p MP4 as well.
They don't offer any scene descriptions here to let you know what's going on. The titles can be unique ("ten little niggers"), but there's nothing more beyond that to explain themselves. It leaves a huge bit of personality out of the site.
As I mentioned to start things off, Electro Films is really hard to categorize unfortunately. Scenes can start off interesting, but there are several things going on that hold them back. The site isn't huge, they don't seem to be updating, the quality could be better, and the scenes are a bit average, and even strange at times. There's everything from solo to hardcore, so it's not a matter of variety. It just seems like they're trying to get a personality going, but it never really comes through. As it stands, if the tour looks interesting, it may be worth a quick look, but I probably would not stick around very long, especially without updates.
