Live cams are already the most real porn experience you can have, so I was very curious to see what happened when you threw virtual reality into the mix.
Yes, this technology is still in its early days, but it's cool to be watching a performer live on cam and in a 180-degree 3D VR environment. The cam girls are sitting in front of various green-screen backgrounds that put them in different environments (the one I chatted with just before writing this was on a "beach"). But this is a little corny and looks fake. Also, the VR experience isn't as great as some of my favorite VR porn sites out there, but I also understand that the live aspect adds a tech challenge that the other sites don't have to deal with.
The virtual experience might not be as advanced due to it being live cams, but the video quality is great. They call them HD and I don't have any reason to doubt that.
Although (as you will see in the cons) using the Gear VR was a little annoying as it involved extra steps in order to make the site work, they do provide simple and easy to understand instructions on how to get it to work, which I appreciated.
If you don't have a VR headset, the site does offer a low-budget Cardboard one to use to test their site. They also sell more advanced models.
Obviously, the first thing I noticed when I arrived at the site was how few performers there were available to chat with. I actually checked out the site at different times on multiple days and the most girls online at any given time were three. And yes, I know this is a new site and they are the first to be doing this VR live cam thing, but having so few performers available is obviously a big con.
I will preface this by saying that I used a Samsung Gear VR to check out the site and I think it would be less of a problem if you are using something else, but it should also be pointed out that the site doesn't currently work with the Occulus or iPhone, which are two very popular devices and they're losing a pretty large share of the populous right off the bat. Anyway, back to my Gear VR.
So, the site does work with a Gear VR, but there are a few instructions that need to be followed that involve a slight "hack" using an app from the Google Play store. It is a few extra steps - and you need to remember to un-hack the device after if you plan on checking out other VR sites - but it does work.
I'm not saying you have to spend lots of money on the site, but I know you're as curious about live VR cams as I was, so I think it's worthwhile heading over and checking it out. Just register and browse. You don't have to spend any money or buy any credits unless you want to. And hopefully, as time passes, the technology and the overall virtual experience will continue to improve.
