Although this technically isn't a grade, it's important we explain how the total score is computed. The simple answer is it's not computed. Our former system used a series of sub-scores (each representing a specific site criteria) that would add up to a total score for the site. We felt this didn't give us the freedom to score a site exactly where we thought it should rank.
The new score now gives each reviewer the complete freedom to decide how the site should rank overall and within it's niche. How does the reviewer figure out this score? Let's just say they have a feel for this stuff by now. :)
The `"grades`" are not factored into the final score. The editor takes a lot more than the grade items into consideration when deciding on the final score.
This represents the speed of the downloads (jpg zips or videos). We usually test with a large video download. The download speeds depend on the individual reviewers internet speed, so a site that reaches the editors max speed should get an A+.
The download manager compatibility also is taken into consideration. If a site allows multiple streams which enable faster downloads, that's definitely a plus. A download manager that only limits to one channel stream will not gain a higher grade.
The download speed and download manager stats are also located in the `"Site Details`" of the review. So be sure to check that as well.
This covers a large range of download related features:
This applies to the primary content of the site (images, videos, or both).
As any man knows, waiting for a download can kill the mood. Users don't necessarily have to download anymore to enjoy high quality porn. This grade will help users get an idea of how well the site delivers streaming video.
BTW, we do not count files that open in Windows Media Player and start playing right away. The video must play within a browser.
Site interface can make or break a web-site, regardless of it's content. Here are a few of the things we look at when judging this grade:
There's probably more not listed above. You get the idea. :)
This grade judges the overall number of useful image galleries available at this site. Exclusive images definitely have more weight than say a grab bag of low quality images that users of today wouldn't find much value in. Screen captures don't carry any value here. Bonus content or sites are not taken into consideration.
This grade judges the overall quality of the images (size, sharpness, compression). In addition, we may also take other aspects like lighting and post-processing into consideration. In other words, don't abuse the airbrushing! Screen captures from videos are not taking into consideration here.
This grade judges the overall number of useful video galleries (episodes, dvds, etc) available at this site. Exclusive full length videos definitely have more weight than non-exclusive videos or shorter length clips. Videos can be streaming or downloads, either will count. Bonus content or sites are not taken into consideration.
This grade judges the overall quality of the videos (size, sharpness, compression). In addition, we may also take other aspects like lighting, encoding, and smooth playback.
This grades the online models available for cam shows.
The quality of the cam looks more at the quality of the picture, rather than the smoothness of the video (see Frame Rate below). So we look at resolution, lighting, compression, etc.
This relates to the features while in a cam show.
Plus other new features we haven't thought of.
This relates to cam quality, but more specifically just focuses on the actual frame rate of the video. This could vary between performers bandwidth, but overall we judge how smooth the video is on average.
We judge this much like a normal pay-site:
