My expectations were low, assuming there was some kind of loophole to the "free" part, and sure enough that seems to be the case. What makes the site different is that they leave it up to the performer and customer to determine how much the show costs and whether there will even be any nudity. We're off to a rough start, but the concept was intriguing.
Interesting live cam setup.
Your Free Cams does things differently, allowing you and your partner to figure out the cost and who is paying whom. You decide if there's going to be nudity. Then you arrange payment through the site. The site takes a hands off approach to the shows, letting the users completely handle how its run. It's a cool idea that allows lots of flexibility in show cost, time, and content.
There are some interesting features here, like Alpha Male and Alpha Female Ratings, Rich Ratings, instant messaging, events, and a personal meetings, message board.
Design and navigation need work.
As soon as I got to the site it was clear this is going to be an issue. The look is very basic and amateur. There are a few sort and browse tools, but they were minimally helpful. There's a lot of room for improvement in this area of the site.
No one online.
I didn't see a single person online during my visit. I'm not sure if the online indicator doesn't work or if no one turns it on or if no one was actually visiting. Either way, there was no easy way to figure out if there was even anyone around to do a show.
Content quality is average at best. To their credit, the folks here seem to be more real amateurs and less experienced performers. As such, you get cam quality and video speeds that are all over the place.
An interesting cam idea that is poorly designed and implemented.
Your Free Cams has some potential as an idea, but in practice I can't say I was impressed. The set-up is just a mess. It's nearly impossible to see who is online. I got the feeling this is a very disorganized collection. If you're looking for a different type of cam site, it could possibly be worth a look, but I really don't see myself coming back to Your Free Cams any time soon.
