If that's on purpose then it's kind of clever and if it happens to be an error then no big deal since it's a porn site anyways. The concept here is a collection of authentic Japanese videos that are weird and/or bizarre. The site fits into the Asian, Bizarre, Videos, and Fetish categories and it is indeed an unusual mixed bag of content. It's part of a network of sites from this company and members get access to with the flagship site being Idols 69 that has a large Japanese hardcore DVD collection.
Unique Collection of Japanese/Bizarre/Fetish Videos.
The content is all video scenes that generally fall between 10-20 minutes long although a few are almost an hour in length. The content is a mix of scenes with hardcore and others that don't have sex and all told things fit with the theme of being authentic Japanese porn that is weird. There is bizarre stuff, fetishes, hardcore, inddor/outdoor, and realy a wide range of shoots.
Full-Video Downloads, Flash Streaming Has Nice Quality & Features.
The content options are consistent for all the movies with full-video downloads in AVI, MPEG, and MP4 formats. The Flash streaming is better than most with near instant buffering, nice quality, and filmstrip navigation that allows for immediate jumping ahead.

The included network is an important part of things here as it is showcased on the guest tour and gives members lots more content including a DVD download site (Idols 69) and targeted niche/fetish sites. Small Collection of Content, Site is Relatively Young.
Wierd Japan was launched in the spring of 2010 which makes it a young site at the time of this review. They seem to be updating about every 2 to 4 days based on the network log and it'll be interesting to check in on later on to see where they're at in terms of quantity. The included network is leaned on to make for the overall lack of quantity.
Mixed Bag of Content, Not a Very Targetted/Focused Collection.
This is the negative side of the site's concept as it is a mish-mash collection that isn't totally dedicated to any one particular theme beyond Japanese porn that is "odd". It's likely that members will find some shoots interesting and other items dull.
In the scenes with hardcore sex much of it is the blurred out censored kind that is often found in Japanese porn.
The download speed is slower than average.
The video quality levels are in different formats with AVI as the highest, MPEG for medium, and MP4 for low. They don't have multiple quality levels for each format.
The price is a bit high if you take the network out of the equation and look at this as a standalone site.

At the time of this review Wierd Japan has just recently got off the ground. The fundamentals are in place with a small collection of Japanese videos that are a mix of hardcore and unusual fetish action. The included network should be taken into account since fans of Japanese content are likely to enjoy the other sites as well and it helps offset the lack of quantity.
