Even though the site's namesake is one man the content is a general collection with a wide range of guys in gay action ranging from hardcore to solo jerking off to groupsex. Along with a monthly membership there is also webcams incorporated into the site with show archive videos available to members and then a live cam shows system with pay-per-view credits system. Membership here comes with some credits included and then more can obviously be purchased as desired.
Great Gay Video/Photo Collection; Hardcore/Solo/Groups.
For a site named for one guy, Randy Blue, the content is a very entertaining mix of content with all sorts of hot, fit, buff guys. Both the video and photo collections have a ton of hardcore guy/guy along with nice variety with groups and solo jerking off too. The majority of models are white but there is a nice amount of black and ethnic guys too which is also good to see. He mixes up; the shoot locations with indoor and outdoor settings and it's just an all-around excellent gay collection for surfers who like buff muscular type guys.
Large Collection, Steady Updates, Date Info on Content.
At the time of this review Randy Blue is celebrating its ten year anniversary so that is commendable. Content does indeed reach back for a decade which is easy to see since all the material is marked with update dates. There are well over a thousand video scenes and the same goes for the photo galleries. You do get a lot for your money here.
HD Quality Newer Videos, Nice Options Overall.
The video options are very solid with the fundamentals covered with MP4 and WMV full-scene downloads along with Flash streaming and mobile files. The MP4 is the star of the show with about half the videos having high-def level at around 1280x720 3500k. Based on info TBP had about this site in the past the downloads used to be in FLV but now they have things in more common and straightforward formats of MP4 and WMV.
Webcam Shows & Show Video Archive.
The webcam show content here is interesting and I will discuss it here and in the Cons section as well. The site does give members some initial credits for live shows. The live show content is front-and-center in the member's area and integrated very much into the design. What I particularly like is that they have a dedicated section for downloadable 'Shows Archive' videos of past shows. There are hundreds of those right here on the site for members to view and download. So that is part of the content even if you don't venture into the actual live shows with the credits.
Pretty inexpensive monthly price and members get a few hundred chat credits to start with.
Randy Blue has active facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr accounts. Those are linked to from the guest tour and member's area.
Video Quality Varies, HD Tags on Many Non-HD Videos.
Essentially these guys just use the HD tag on every single video they have in their movie section. Even though the mid-range and older scenes are certainly not high-def they still mark them with that icon. It sort of makes the tag useless. Some videos are more like 960x540, 836x470, or 640x480 so there is a drop-off which is goes with the territory for a site that has been around for a decade. I just wish they would be more accurate in applying the HD icon so that it would be a useful little browse tool instead of an annoyance.
Webcam Chat Upsell is Very Front-and-Center.
The way Randy Blue has webcams worked into the site is both a positive and a negative. As I mentioned in my Pros section it's nice to have for users who want it and they do have past show archives and give members some free credits with membership. That being said as a pay-per-credit upsell this is very in your face all over Randy's member's area. It's a bit much for those who aren't interested in PPV live cams. Also, the show archives haven't seen any new videos in about a year leading into this review.

Randy Blue is an excellent site overall and has a lot more positives than it does negatives. The balance to the collection is something that stands out to me with the mix of video scenes, photo galleries, and cam show archives. The live cams are there and will appeal to some users I'm sure but not others. Randy has been online for around a decade now and the site seems as strong as ever.
