Huge collection of scenes.

MaleFlixxx is a huge site, with 41,342 scenes from 9,521 DVDs. More than 3,682 actors are featured in their collection. Having such a large archive allows them to offer a great variety of men and action. Twinks or bears, bareback or fisting, they've got it all right here.

Some good navigational tools.

Getting around the large site isn't too difficult. Browse by category, star, or studio. The director's name for each scene is linked to their other work so it's easy to find similar content. The Smart Search allows you to get specific with your query, helping make the huge collection very accessible.

There are multiple streaming options for the videos. The scenes can be viewed using WMV, Real, or Silverlight. There are several quality settings and even a filmstrip to help you jump right to the action you enjoy most.

Expensive PPV set-up.

MaleFlixxx is a pay-per-view site with a slightly different structure from other ppv sites. Rather than per minute, you pay per scene. Each scene will run you around $3.50 to rent for 24 hours. If you watch more than 6 or 8 in a month, you're probably spending more than you would on other standard paysites, and there you might even be able to download the scenes. The PPV structure works in some cases, but if you're just after a lot of gay porn, this set-up will end up costing you a pretty penny.

Average quality content.

The videos are professional, so that helps the quality somewhat. However, they weren't as sharp as I would have liked. The video size is also limited to just 640 x 480, a far cry from the high definition that is becoming the norm on so many other sites.

The videos are streaming only. There's no option to download these movies.

There's no update log and none of the scenes are dated. I'm not sure when or even if new scenes are being added.
