(recurring)Hairy Boyz is up for review today, and this site features hairy guys, who are usually pretty muscular as well, in both solo and hardcore gay action. The term "boyz" is a little bit misinformed in my opinion as a lot of these guys are probably not quite in the young 18-21 category, but you can check out their tour and see all that for yourself. The site is pretty large, but I can't tell if the content is exclusive or not. $30 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I was expecting for this site.
Lots to see here!
They have a decent amount of content here for sure, which is one of the best things the site has going for it. There are over 700 photo galleries, and over 380 video clips up as well. Plus, the updates are coming in regularly still, so expect those numbers to continue to rise, hopefully.
Updates come in pretty regularly a new video scene posted every week. It's not the quickest update schedule, but at least they're consistent.
The hairy aspect to the men here puts a little different twist on gay porn to help them stand out a bit.
Videos are streaming or DRM downloads only.
What a bummer this one turned out to be. You're pretty restricted in how you can view their videos. If you need downloads, you're stuck with DRM, which don't even play on mac computers. Or, you can use their streaming versions on the site, which means you have to keep your membership active as long as you want access. Either way, it's a big jump down from the usual free and clear downloads that most sites offer.
Quality is just okay.
They have some HD videos up, which aren't bad I guess, but they definitely aren't in the majority. A lot of the content here looks several years old, and it's showing its age for sure. I'd look for a bump in both video and photo quality going forward as soon as possible.
Navigation could be better.
There's enough content here that they could use a much better set of navigation tools in my opinion. They break things down a little bit into categories, but it's not enough at all. I'd look for some kind of advanced search setup to help narrow things down that much quicker.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
A pretty large collection here, though a few things are definitely holding them back.
Hairy Boyz offers up a lot of content, plus regular updates, so that in itself is a lot better than a lot of sites we come across these days. However, there are some major issues as well. The biggest problem here is that the videos are streaming only, or offered in DRM downloads. Navigation could also be improved, and the quality isn't the best a lot of the time. So in the end, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but you can definitely have some fun here if you can look past the faults.
