(recurring)Club Jeremy Hall is up for review today, and this is a solo male site, which we don't actually come across that often. He's a pretty athletic/muscular model that's right around age 30. His site generally offers hardcore content with other similar gay models, with no real theme or niche standing out otherwise. $20 will get you in for the first month, which is right about where I'd hoped it would be.
Exclusive gay content.
The main component of the site is the content itself. They don't get too deep into any niches or anything, but they do provide exclusive hardcore gay content at least. The guys are generally fit and muscular, so there's a little something unique to help them stand out from the crowd.
The site isn't large, but at least it's not tiny. We come across plenty of sites that are 1/3 of the size of the site here on a daily basis.
No longer updating.
They stopped adding new content around seven months ago, so I wouldn't expect the updates to get turned back on anytime soon. They need more content, so the lack of updates is a definite disappointment here.
Slow downloads; can't browse while downloading.
They don't really allow download managers to do their thing, so you're stuck with a single-channel browser download only. Those came in around 1/9th of my max speed at best, so the videos took a lot longer to download than I'm used to. In addition, while the video is downloading, you can't even go read around in the bio section or check out some photo galleries while you're waiting - nothing on the site works.
Very small photos.
I was pretty surprised to see the small photos, and I kept clicking around hoping I'd find a larger version somewhere, or a zip file with larger photos. Unfortunately, you're stuck at a max of 600x400 from what I can tell, which is awfully small, even for sites from 3-4 years ago (let alone today's sites).
Navigation isn't great.
There's just kind of a list of content to go check out with no real direction or options to speak of. The site isn't totally huge, but it's just getting to the point that they need some options. Don't expect a search, any categories, or even a models index.
It takes a lot of clicks to get to an actual video download link here. It's just an extra step or two.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
The streaming video here offered no controls to move around in the video, or even pause it. It could be something with my computer, but I have a pretty standard setup.
There's no interaction with Jeremy here. No blog, diary, forum, or cam shows or anything to get to know him better.
He's a good-looking guy, but his site just isn't that great overall.
I can see the reason to join Club Jeremy Hall, as he's a good-looking guy who provides some nice hardcore content. However, his site as a whole does not have a lot going for it. There isn't a ton to see (though it's not a tiny site at least), updates seem to have stopped a while ago, the site itself is very plain, there's no interaction, the photos are miniscule, and the option list is pretty weak. The site just feels a little dated and forgotten as it stands. I'd look for updates to resume, quality to be upgraded, and just more options and features to be added. His content is okay, but the site needs some major work.
