Intro

Tribal Twinks is a gay site offering up photos and videos of ethnic young men in hardcore and solo scenes. We've reviewed quite a few sites by this company (AEBN) and have come to expect a user-friendly interface and high quality content. Tribal Twinks delivers exactly that with their sexy young men.

The Pros

Exclusive gay collection.

Tribal Twinks features a largely exclusive collection of young gay men in action. Some of the guys stroke it solo while other include a buddy for hot duo action. One thing I enjoyed was how many of the scenes take place outside. I was also impressed with the varied ethnicities represented. This is a hot collection for fans of young twinks from around the world.

Easy to navigate.

There are some really handy tools for sorting the content. Models, galleries, and videos can be viewed by name, date, top rated, and most viewed. Everything is laid out in a way that is intuitive and user-friendly.

Other Good Stuff:

The favorites folder, user ratings, and mailing list are all good user tools.
Photos can be viewed in a slideshow and downloaded in zip files.
Videos can be streamed in browser using Flash in three quality settings.
Members of Tribal Twinks get access to two bonus sites.
Readers of The Best Porn can join Tribal Twinks at a special discount price of $20 a month, a nice savings off the regular price of $25 a month.

The Cons

Very small site.

Tribal Twinks has only been around for a few months so of course the collection is still quite small. There are currently just 36 galleries and 46 videos online. It won't take long to see everything here.

Not enough video download options.

Each video can be streamed in Flash in multiple quality settings, so I have no complaints about the streaming. However, when you want to download you're limited to just MP4 in one quality setting. There are no other quality settings, clip length options, or formats from which to choose.

Average quality content.

The mp4s here look fine, coming in at 640 x 480 (or occasionally 848 x 480) but I definitely felt they could have been larger and sharper. They look like decent amateur material, but I expected more.

Minor Negatives:

There are a few ads in the member's area. They aren't awful, but they are there.
Downloads were on the slow side. Even with a download manager, speeds were a fraction of what I'm seeing on other sites.

Bottom Line

The collection is small but offers some hot original twink scenes.

Tribal Twinks is off to an ok start. The scenes and models are hot, and I appreciated the site's user features. There's no doubt the collection needs growth, but that is coming. I'd also like to see more viewing options. The discount price and multi-site access make for a good deal, however. It needs some time to grow, but overall Tribal Twinks is worth a look for fans of multi-ethnic twink action.
