Intro

Pornstar Network which was formerly known as Brain Pass is a huge network that incorporates niche sites, studio sites, pornstar sites, and it's also a massive archive of DVD porn. While it is a network and you can browse things by individual site the majority of the navigation tools revolve around browsing it as one large mega-site. My feeling is that although it is a network it actually has a much closer feel of a DVD download site as opposed to a reality style network collection.

The Pros

Hardcore Network w/ Studios, Pornstars, DVDs, Niche Sites, Etc.

This is one of those networks that covers both their bases in that they have individual sites with different niche themes, individual pornstars, and studios but also it can be utilized as one big ol' video, DVD, and picture archive. All sorts of hardcore action is available with a general audience in mind so they have stuff in all sorts of niches and fetishes from many different studios. One things I noticed is they have a category for behind-the-scenes stuff with lots of videos. Basically they've taken all the DVD extra type material and compiled them in one section.

Massive Archive, Lots of Sites & Content, Daily Updates.

Quantity is definitely an asset of Pornstar Network. There's just a ton of porn here when it comes to individual video scenes, DVD titles, and photo galleries. The pornstar index is massive as well. They continue to roll out daily updates and content items are date-stamped which is helpful since it's been around for many years.

Solid Download/Viewing Options, HD Newer Videos.

What you'll find on each video is the ability to save full-scenes usually in a couple formats. Newer additions do have MP4 HD in a mix of 1920x1080 or 1280x720 depending on the age of the shoot. Newer ones have both options. The Flash streaming player is very useful with quick loading/buffering and the ability to jump ahead.

The navigation set-up works well and for a network collection of this size they have put together helpful macro-search tools. These include the ability to browse all the content by niche category, DVD, studio, or full model index. On the individual scene pages the pornstar names, niches, etc are hyperlinked which helps for finding related/similar content.

Other Good Stuff:

Members can post feedback and comments on the scenes and models. Also, there is a section dedicated to Tweets from a bunch of different pornstars. They even have Twitter feeds linked to from the model index.
Clear video files size, format, and spec details are posted for the videos. This is particularly helpful here since things do vary quite a bit in terms of options across the collection.
A mobile version of the network is available to members. A link on the header enables you to navigate between the web and mobile versions.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Video Quality, Formats, Options Vary Across Collection.

The bulk of the movies here don't have the HD quality available. Specs and formats really do vary quite a bit throughout the collection. There are a mixed bag of MP4, WMV, and AVI so especially when browsing thru the model index or niche section you'll get at those older scenes with lower quality and less impressive choices.

Some Older Content, Some Non-Updating Out-of-Date Sites.

While there is a ton of content here it does have its ups-and-downs. There is newer stuff but also scenes and movies that are more dated and have been around for a long time. There are a number of network sites that haven't gotten attention in a long time so activity and the age of the content on the sites does vary across the network.

Minor Negatives:

Much of the cotnent is non-exclusive DVD material so it's quite a mixed bag of content.
There are a few member's area ads and upsells.

Pornstar Network was formerly known as Brain Pass. That network site is still online however it's the same package as Pornstar Network which is the preferred title now.

Bottom Line

A large network with a ton of downloadable hardcore action of all types.

What Pornstar Network has to offer is a whole lot of hardcore porn with their own niche, pornstar, and studio sites plus the included DVD movie archive. They have made the upgrade to HD on newer scenes which is good to see although while browsing you will find variation in the movie quality and formats. Overall the provide members with a lot of content with newer and older material.
