Intro

Asian American Girls is up for review today, and surprise, surprise, guess what we'll be seeing here? They're all Asian girls living in the US of course, though some look more Americanized than others. Still, it's a unique concept in the always-popular Asian niche, so I applaud them for that. Most sets here are solo or with toys, though you can find some hardcore stuff in here as well. It's a pretty straightforward site with no network access, a decent amount of content, and regular updates. $25 a month gets you in the door, which isn't too bad I guess.

The Pros

Lots to see here.

They've got a decent-sized site here with over 250 photo galleries, and almost 425 videos currently. Considering the content is all exclusive and in a small niche, I'd say they're doing pretty well overall in terms of numbers. Updates continue to come in regularly as well.

Exclusive Asian-American content.

Of course, the main draw to the site will probably be the content itself here. While there are a ton of Asian sites out there, the focus on Asian Americans here is a nice little diversion. They say it's all exclusive as well, which is even better in my book.

Updates come often.

I don't think they have a set schedule here or anything, but the update logs seem to go back to the beginning of the site; you get a good idea of what they offer here in terms of updates. Every 2-3 days or so on average, they add a new scene which offers a photo gallery and a video. Sometimes they come more often, and on other rare times, they come less often, but it's quite consistent overall.

Other Good Stuff:

The search feature they put up is a nice option. It's not the most advanced I've seen, but it should help you narrow down the content quite nicely.

The Cons

Quality is just average.

The quality here isn't bad at all, it just doesn't stand out as good, either. Videos look fine, but could be a little sharper (or even offered in high definition). Pictures look good (usually), but could be larger overall in my opinion.

Navigation is a bit basic.

They do have the search, which is cool, but I guess more the layout here is what's lacking a bit. Gallery pages only have a "next" and "previous" link, with no numbered page links available. The models index only lets you browse by alphabet letter, and not all at once (let alone by popularity, etc.). The update log has no thumb previews, and there's not even a separate photo section.

Minor Negatives:

The file structure for the zip files is a little annoying. After you unzip it, you have a folder inside about three other folders before finally seeing some pictures. Why have so many sub-folders there?
There's no network access here that I see, which isn't awful, but it's notably missing since most sites seem to offer some bonus sites these days.
Both the downloads and the actual browsing of the site are a little slow overall. The downloads aren't too bad, but some of their pages take quite a few seconds to load.
Videos only come in WMV format, with no streaming or other options available.

Bottom Line

A nice niche, but the site overall is pretty average.

It's tough to find things to say about Asian American Girls. It's very middle-of-the-road with some okay content, but no outstanding features or quality. I guess the numbers are the best part (along with the niche), and the updates come pretty often, so they focus on the most important things. However, I think they could really jump ahead of the pack with some slick navigation and options, plus some higher quality. What they have works, but I just don't know if it's memorable in the end.
