Intro

Hometown Honeys is up for review today, and this site is a pretty generic collection of porn overall. There's no real niche going on here, though you could construe that they focus on amateurs from the title I guess (even though that's not really followed in practice in my opinion). What they lack in originality, they try to make up for in numbers. There are over 900 video scenes online currently. Just $10 a month gets you in the door thanks to an awesome discount, and that also gets you access to the Sex See network of sites.

The Pros

Lots to see here.

There's a little discrepancy in how much content there is exactly as the numbers have been changing recently by quite a bit. We have them listed at over 600 videos, while their site now puts them at over 900. Either way is pretty good news as with this type of content, you want there to be as much to see as possible.

Network access included.

Of course, you may want to check out something a little different once you've seen some stuff here. You get full access to the Sex See network of sites which gets you 14 other sites included with your membership. Go check em out and enjoy the free extra content for sure.

Other Good Stuff:

There are about 115 scenes here that come in high definition streaming, which all definitely look better than the SD versions.
At just $10 a month thanks to a great discount they've setup for our users (they normally charge $30 a month), you won't find much cheaper out there.

The Cons

Doesn't seem to be exlusive.

Just based on the names of the scenes, and by eyeballing the content a bit, you can tell this stuff is probably non-exclusive for the most part. I'd say it's pulled from DVD sources, hopefully at least filtered down a bit to fit the niche they're going for. It has a pretty generic feel to it overall, though.

No downloads available.

This was a pretty big surprise for me. Their content isn't exactly unique, so why go to the trouble of trying to protect it from downloading? It must be a new strategy for them - to offer up a very low price in hopes you'll stick around with streaming-only videos. It definitely sucks.

Navigation needs work.

With so much content up, I was really hoping for some better navigation and search options here. There's nothing, unfortunately. You're just stuck browsing through a huge list of material in hopes of finding something you like. This one sucks pretty bad as well.

Minor Negatives:

While they have videos, there are no photo galleries here at all, which may disappoint some.
It looks like updates are coming here, but they aren't dated at all for some reason. You'll have to keep your eye out on those.

Bottom Line

This one ends up being just a bit below average overall for me.

Hometown Honeys starts off on a generic foot with pretty average content that's not exclusive. The quality is a bit below average as well, save for the HD videos they have up. They try to make up for this with big numbers, and with over 900 scenes up, they do an okay job there. The low price really helps a lot as well, and network access is a nice bonus. However, once they removed the downloads, this became a pretty tough sell in my opinion. Though you get some okay stuff at a low price, there are similar sites out there at a good price that don't restrict you so much.
