Intro

Alternadudes is a gay site featuring anti-jock content with alternative, goth, punk, emo, skater, and surfer type guys. They have exclusive downloadable video scenes of action ranging from solo guy jerking off to hardcore guy/guy to groupsex. Interview videos with the guys are also part of the equation too. Tattoos, piercings, emo hairstyles, and hip clothes are not in short supply here.

The Pros

Unique Alternative/Punk/Goth Gay Content, Solo & Hardcore.

The alternative style guys are definitely the foundation of the content and they deliver nicely on a range of young fit amateur type models that range from 18-25 for the most part. Content revolves around original video scenes with everything from solo jerking off to full-on hardcore action. This is entertaining stuff as they definitely do an excellent job delivering the type of guys you'd want to see from a site called Alternadudes and the varies of solo and hardcore makes for a well-rounded collection. The site has been around for a few years now so they have put together an archive of well over a hundred video scenes and models.

Newer Videos are HD MP4, Good Video Options Overall.

These guys have stepped things up on newer additions moving towards high-definition level MP4 full scene downloads at 8000k 1280x720. In addition to this as the top level they have a WMV option, standard MP4 level and in-browser Flash streaming. Essentially they have the basics covered in terms of multiple formats for download, a streaming format, and the HD as the special feature.

Other Good Stuff:

Some of the guys have interview videos along with their main action shoot. These interviews add another dimension to the content which enhances the entertainment value.
Good written summaries are provided on the scenes and the model index has physical stat and some bio info about the guys.
Scenes are date-stamped with update information plus members can post feedback/comments on the scene and model pages.

The Cons

Design is a Bit Rough, Could be Refined a Bit More.

The member's area has a chronological listing of scenes along with a model index as browsing tools. I found the page layout and niche tag cloud items to be somewhat rough-around-the-edges. Also for the interview videos I would have liked to have seen those posted on the model's page in the model index but they're not - they are only found along side the episode on the shoot page.

Video Quality Does Vary, Some Pics are Screen Caps.

The scenes vary in terms of some not having the high-definition quality. I didn't always seem to be newer vs. older as some of the older scenes did have the HD so it can be a bit hit-and-miss. The pictures included on the shoots also seem to sometimes be dedicated photos and other times video screen captures.

Minor Negatives:

No video file size information is posted on the downloadable files.
There is a site blog which had a few posts per month for a while however the activity there has slowed down in recent months.

Membership billing is done through CCBill which should be straightforward for most users.

Bottom Line

Exclusive alternative/punk gay content with a nice mix of solo, hardcore & interview videos.

The emphasis of Alternadudes is clearly more on exclusivity and style rather than sheer quantity. Taking that into consideration the site has a lot going for it especially in the way they follow through on the site's theme by having guys that fit right in with the punk, alternative, or related styles. The mix of solo jerking-off along with hardcore and interview action makes for a fun collection and then the high-def videos also is a plus. The site design is a bit rough and there are some content inconsistencies but overall the positives outweigh the negatives here and surfers who like what they see from the guest tour samples should enjoy what's available to members.
