Intro

Studport is home to more than 303 DVD titles "and growing". These are hot gay scenes from titles like Revenge of the Dragon, The Twin Factor, Boys Fantasies, and Unleash The Beast just to name a few. They even offer a small collection of HD scenes (79 currently), a sizable archive of images and bonus site access is included with your $29.95 monthly membership. It's been a while since we've seen an AVS Service, but the advantage here is the variety of niche themes offered together on a decently browseable format.

The Pros

Decent Collection of Gay Content.

Studport isn't quite like the AVS Services I'm used to seeing from the old days. What is similar is how the pics are laid out, but otherwise this looks like a collection of DVD studio content with another page of about 79 HD scenes listed featuring the 32 models that are also listed. Basically this is a collection of DVD scenes with ranging niche themes, everything from studs to amateurs, twinks, bareback, fetish, fisting, uniforms and more.

Some HD Scenes Listed.

Currently there are about 79 scenes being offered with HD specs. They offer 3000k bitrate speeds and look pretty nice. There is no information about these scenes, or where they come from but these are where you'll find the 32 models that are listed. Unfortunately no new HD scenes have been added since Nov 2011 (at the time of this review).

Other Good Stuff:

This week alone there were more than 20 image galleries posted. Just 1 new DVD, however.
The newest non-HD scenes offer 2100k bitrate speeds and look pretty good too.

The Cons

Non-Exclusive Content.

Much of the content here is non-exclusive DVD titles and can be found elsewhere online. It's hard to tell where the HD scenes come from since there is no information listed about the, but it's clear to see the content here is not exclusive. When you click on an image set you are taken to a new page with a different URL. I suppose this is where the AVS comes in?

Image Sizing is Really Small.

All of the image sets I clicked on here are about the size and quality of what you can expect to find from a free site. Some appear to be quality screen caps too and the fact that they are posted on a new URL doesn't help either.

Site Design is Average.

Image sets are simply listed 20 per page on a number of pages. Some categories are given but getting around could still be better. The videos are listed about the same way but this time with sortable options for studio, director and actor. Overall this is your basic design with just the basics.

Minor Negatives:

Oldest video quality is stuck around 1100k and looks about average to below. The DVD listing scenes also don't offer Flash streaming.
While many new image sets were added this week only 1 new DVD was added and no HD scenes have been added since Nov. 2011, at the time of this review.

Bottom Line

A mix of DVD studs, HD guys, and tiny pic'ed galleries but a decent collection.

After spending some time on Stud Port I actually enjoyed the site more than I expected to. While I think the image galleries are, for lack of a better word, rather worthless because of their sizing, there actually are some quality videos to be seen here. The current HD selection is great, I just hope they get back to adding more. And the non-exclusive DVD selection isn't bad either. Stud Porn won't compare to most of the DVD sites we see, even the gay ones, but it does offer a decent selection with 2100k bitrate speeds, some HD and a few extras. The price of admission is a little high for what you get, but overall there is some decent stuff going on here.
