Intro

Coco Dorm is the home of live sex cams and chat for all things Black & Latino; I guess we can't leave out gay either. Currently there are a decent number of models with content on the site plus over 300 streaming cam archives, chats, blogs and more. The free section lets you check out the sites schedule, updates, events and more but it's the member%u2019s area where the real action is. It's not entirely clear to me just how many guys really live in the house but they do offer a section called Dorm Dudes that highlights 8 of the men along with Past Dudes that offers even more, all of which are Black, Latino and even some that look White. There is also a Wannabees section that focuses on "dudes who wanna join the dorm" and you are able to vote on which you would like to see joining the ranks. I found the site to be rather confusing overall making the $34.95 monthly fee a little high for my blood.

The Pros

Live Streaming Cams Archives.

Throughout this review there were a couple of the guys that I saw either wandering around the house doing chores, working on the computer or simply sitting in bed. I like that the Live Cams page shows a layout of the dorm but it seems rather small for the amount of guys that are living here. And if nothing interesting is going on live you can always check out the pre-recorded streams - there are tons of them.

Some HD Videos.

Many of the newer videos offer a high definition download option. These scenes play at 5000k and up to 7200k (1280x720). They are mostly sharp quality and really good looking, especially considering this is a cam/amateur site.

Other Good Stuff:

Multiple video viewing options. Most scenes offer Windows Media and Quicktime with two quality settings each.
Blogs (no longer updated), confessions, Dorm Dudes and Wannabe profiles, and a forum round add to the sites personality & theme.

The Cons

Site Doesn't Appear to be Updating With New Content?

Although the free section shows updates being added anywhere from 1-5 times per week plus a schedule of live cam shows, the date stamps in the members area don't show any new content being added since Dec. 2011 (at the time of this review). There were a couple of guys wandering around the house during my visit, but nothing nude or sexual going on. The blogs section of the site hasn't really seen any updates for quite some time either.

Quality Could be Better at Times.

The overall quality on the site is okay and the streams are smooth but the image is always lacking color I've found. Most models also offer a set of images (available as zip files) and although the pics themselves could be larger, the quality is usually pretty good.

The streaming WMV cam action is small-sized and not the greatest in terms of quality.

Minor Negatives:

Expensive. Membership is $35 a month. This is a unique collection, but that's still a lot to pay each month.

Bottom Line

We may be in between Dorm Dudes but I love the idea of the site.

Sure, 24/7 house cams, live cam shows and Dorm Dude interaction is all very cool but if nothing seems to be going on these days how can one justify paying almost $35 bucks per month for such a site? Dorm Dude blogs have been slow-going for almost the past year and although the 24/7 cams were still live, no new cam shows have been added since Dec. 2011 (at the time of this review). Clearly Coco Dorm is a unique site, but it need to keep its momentum if it's going to charge users so much to get inside.
