Intro

Penthouse.com is the official website of world-famous Penthouse magazine. You're no doubt familiar with their legacy of beautiful Penthouse Pets and for the first time you can access all of their ladies in one place. From the disco babes of 1973 to 2009's current hotties, you can find all of the wonderful smut that makes Penthouse what it is right here.

The Pros

Great-sized collection.

They've got a large collection of entertainment. There are currently approximately 110,000 photos of more than 2,000 models along with 549 videos. In addition to that, there are forum letters, questions to Dr. Z from Penthouse readers, and x-rated video reviews, as well as Penthouse Letters, video feeds, and weekly live chats. There's plenty here to keep members busy.

Original Penthouse content.

All of the content here is exclusive Penthouse material. Some of it is scanned images from their archive of Pets (dating back over 30 years) and some of it is original material created just for their website. It all has that special Penthouse touch that you won't find anywhere else.

High quality pictures.

Photo quality for many of their sets is very good. Images are offered in five sizes with the largest at a whopping 5220x3528! These pictures are as sharp and colorful as you would hope for from one of the world's top men's magazines.

Easy to navigate.

They've got some great tools that make it easy to get around this large site. Galleries are categorized by type of action, videos are divided by whether they're full-length or internet exclusive, and there's also a model index and keyword search. They also provide plenty of links to all the top rated galleries, videos, and models. The site is laid out well, so getting around is no problem.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates come daily. Looking through their update calendar, you can see that they add either a new gallery or video every single day. They also show thumbnails of what's coming next in future updates.
Some entertaining extras, like a Letters section, a blog (that hasn't been updated in a while), a forum, and live chats.
Quick downloads! Using the browser I got speeds of 2.4mbps while using a download manager the videos cam in at 5.5mbps. No waiting needed for these scenes!

The Cons

Older content doesn't look as sharp.

Not all galleries offer the super high resolution pictures. Older sets are closer to 1200x1000, with some sets closer to 800x530. The pictures still look nice enough, but they don't come close to the newer sets.

Average quality videos.

Video quality was so-so. The clips play at 700k-1110k and look average. They still look professional, but the video picture isn't as sharp as it could be. They're quite small, at 480x360, and the action gets grainy if you enlarge the picture much at all.

Minor Negatives:

The member's area had banners and links to other paysites and camsites. They make the site feel cluttered and detract from the overall look.
Not enough video viewing options. You get a Flash stream and high and low quality wmvs. There are no full-length downloads.
When you cancel your membership, you lose access immediately, even if you technically have days remaining.
No scene descriptions or model biographies provided.

Bottom Line

Exactly the kind of quality entertainment you'd expect from Penthouse.

Penthouse.com is everything you would hope for from a quality company like Penthouse. They've got a large collection, high quality content, daily updates, and a reasonable price of $25 a month. The video section was a bit disappointing, only because I expect a lot from Penthouse. Still, you go to Penthouse for the photos and in that respect I think you'll be quite satisfied.
