Intro

Digital Desire features the work of professional photographer J.S. Hicks who has done commercial photography and also worked for both Playboy and Penthouse. This site is a compilation of his work with glamour softcore photos and videos featuring gorgeous models. The guest tour is pretty open with good info on both Hicks' background as well as a look at the models, videos, and photo sets that are included.

The Pros

Exclusive Glamour Vids/Pics, Interview & Casting Content Too.

For photographers like J.S. Hicks a site like this works well to be able to publish his work directly to the public. He has a glamour collection of both photo galleries and video scenes featuring softcore stripping/posing along with a small number of two girl shoots. The models are familiar sexy pro babes along with other models that I wasn't familiar with. I also like that there are interview videos, backstage content, and a section of casting galleries all of which are a nice change of pace and add additional depth to the collection.

Big Archive of Content Going Back More Than a Decade.

Digital Desire has been a going concern since the mid/late 1990's so they have quite a track record. In fact one of the things I enjoyed was the blend of current content and models with some of Hicks' older more vintage work which is sprinkled in - the content section for this is called 'Flashback'. All galleries and photo sets are date stamped with update info and they are constantly posting new additions daily or almost daily.

HD Quality Videos & High-Res Photography, Good Options.

Not only are HD videos tagged as such but there is a filter option to view only HD movies when browsing. Currently around half the videos have high-def specs of 3200k 1280x720 which is a nice proportion of the overall content. Video options include WMV and MP4 for the high-def along with medium levels of those formats and Flash as additional options. Photos have five online image sizes topping out at very high-res 3000x2000 and zip files for downloading the sets are also offered.

Other Good Stuff:

Site layout and design is straightforward with separate photo and video sections that can be filtered by hair, breast size, shaved/unshaved, and style. There is also a check box to view only HD/high-res content. The A-to-Z model index is also a useful tool.
Download speeds are above average as I was getting around 1.2-1.4MB/sec which is on par with what previous TBP reviews have noted.
These guys have set up a special discount price for TBP users which makes the cost lower than their standard rate.

The Cons

Not Much Model Info, Model Index Could Use More Sort Tools.

Because this is the work of J.S. Hicks and a couple other photographers I was surprised that more model information wasn%u2019t provided. Really the model index just links through to the girls' sets without any further information. These are pros and non-pros with both Americans and European models so some bio info would have been helpful. Also the model index is strictly A-to-Z without further filter tools which would have been helpful.

Content Quality Does Vary, Not All Shoots at Highest Levels.

Around half the videos don't have the high-def quality and that includes some of the more recent additions. While most of the newer postings have HD it's not on all of them. The photo sets with over a decade of archives also have fewer options and lower quality on the older galleries. Basically there are five standardized image sizes and the older sets simply have fewer options without the highest levels.

Minor Negatives:

Zip files are only offered in one quality level while there are multiple choices for online viewing.
No file size information is provided for the video files or gallery zips.

The other

There is biographical information on Hicks and other contributing photographers along with a site message board and Twitter account.
Most or all videos have background music.

Bottom Line

An impressive glamour photo & video collection from photographer J.S. Hicks.

Digital Desire delivers nicely on some key area that I like to see from a glamour site like this including high content quality, regular updates, and gorgeous models. While there is a dip in quality back in the archives that goes with the territory for a site that's been around for such a long time as this one has. The positives clearly outweigh the negatives by a wide margin as this site continues to impress.
