Intro

Yes Movies is up for review today, and they offer up a bunch of hardcore Asian movies. They offer a lot of Japanese content, but also offer a Chinese section, and a "hot girls" section, which is just random Asian content. I'd have to guess this is non-exclusive content, but it's hard for me to tell with this stuff. I was surprised to see that there wasn't much blurring of the hardcore action here, which is nice to see. Anyhow, $30 a month gets you in the door, which is about what's expected I guess.

The Pros

Pretty large site.

With over 1,100 videos online, plus a couple hundred photo galleries, there's a lot to see. That's the hallmark of this type of site though, so it's expected. More content is put up regularly too, so expect the numbers to keep climbing.

Other Good Stuff:

Granted, they don't come every day, but if you average out all the updates, it comes out to about one every 2-3 days, which is pretty good.
The quality here was decent for me. The specs aren't spectacular or anything, but the videos looked nice all around.

The Cons

More video options needed.

Each video was offered in a different type it seemed, but I'd love for each video to have several options. First, there was no streaming video option. Second, add in another video type or two in there to give people options.

Navigation could be better.

About the best they do is separate out Chinese vs. Japanese girls, and then at least the pages are numbered and linked. Otherwise, I'd love to see some category searches at a minimum, and just more options overall.

Minor Negatives:

I don't know a ton about this type of content, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's non-exclusive material here.
As with most similar sites, the file sizes can get pretty big, and they take a while to download unfortunately.

Bottom Line

A pretty standard hardcore Asian site overall; lots to see, but not a lot of options.

The main draw here is the size of the site, of course, as with most all the other hardcore Asian sites out there like this. They seem to pull most of their content from DVD's though, so the content could be similar to the other sites like this out there. Expect large files, not many options, but a lot of content. The updates are a little slow coming, but it balances out with larger than normal updates when they do come. Overall, I'd love more video options, more navigation options, more frequent updates, and just something unique to help them stand out. Nothing is too bad here, but nothing is really great or new either. It's a fine join, just like all their competitors would be in my opinion.
