Intro

Maiko XXX is up for review today, and this is actually a pretty standard Japanese hardcore site. Within this site (I almost would call it a network) are three sections: Maiko Teens, Maiko MILFs, and Maiko Creampies. Beyond that, the scenes are pretty standard. They start with some interviews, and move on to one-on-one hardcore action. Plus, nothing is censored or blurred that I saw, which is unique within the niche. $20 a month gets you in the door, which is a special discount setup for our users.

The Pros

All original hardcore Japanese content.

The niche here is definitely the main reason to check the site out. It's not too crazy or unique within the niche, but they do offer uncensored hardcore Japanese action at least, and the porn is good. The interviews can get a little old if you don't understand what they're saying!

Updates come fairly often.

They seem to add a new scene every 2-3 days or so, with three new updates per week being the average. I'd guess the site can't be that new, with an update schedule like this, but at least they're growing at a pretty nice clip. I hope it continues going forward for sure.

Other Good Stuff:

As you browse the site, there are a few categories to choose from to help narrow things down at least. I'd love to see that list expanded quite a bit, but it's a good start for now.

The Cons

Navigation could be better.

Besides the few categories they have, there's not a whole lot in the way of features here for finding content. There's just lists of scenes, and even then, you can only browse a single page at a time without being able to jump ahead very easily. Especially as the site gets larger, they could definitely do more to make navigation easier.

Needs more scene/model info.

Everything is very plain here in terms of the lack of info given. The scenes have no descriptions, the models have no bio info, and there's just a big lack of personality in that regard. You can sometimes look past that on the huge mega-sites, but a smaller site like this should be able to provide that kind of info.

Minor Negatives:

When you hit a scene's page, the video starts playing automatically. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, and it can be quite loud and surprising when it first starts.
Though it's not a small site, this one still really needs some growth. 150 scenes isn't bad, but I'm thinking they need several hundred (at minimum) to really get noticed.
Most videos have an interview portion at the beginning, but it's 100% in Japanese unfortunately. Most of us probably cannot understand it, and thus, it's kinda worthless.

Bottom Line

Some fun scenes for sure, but I'd love a little more all around to really get excited.

Maiko XXX falls into the same category that so many sites do these days: it's good, but it's not great enough to stand out a ton. They offer some fine scenes, with some fun porn. Newer videos come in HD, they update regularly, and things all look good. However, there isn't a ton to see, though it's not small, either. Quality isn't THAT great. Navigation is just okay. I think the problem here is that they're competing with some very similar sites that offer hundreds, or even thousands, of scenes. If they can't beat them with numbers, it has to be something else. More updates, higher quality, more options, something unique. I think it's an okay site to check out, but I really don't think I'd stick around longer than a month or so without moving on and looking for something new.
