Intro

Caballero Classics is a collection of vintage porn movies from the Caballero production studio. So this is interesting in that it's not just a general mish-mash collection of classic porn but is instead features movies from this one company. That makes things a bit more cohesive some other sites in the vintage category. The gust tour is completely an open book in that visitors can browse the collection exactly as members see it and get some video preview samples as well. Spending a few minutes there will let you know exactly what they have available to members.

The Pros

Hundreds of Classic Caballero Studios Full Length Movies.

These are full length porn DVDs (or I should say movies since DVDs weren't around decades back) from the Caballero studio. It's a well rounded collection of hardcore porn for those who enjoy porn from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Content is listed by movie and from there broken down by scene which can be streamed or downloaded.

Custom Clip Tool, Downloadable WMV Files.

On the individual scene pages members can select a start and end point within the scene and create a downloadable clip. This means you can get full-scene files or any portion therein. A few different quality levels are offered and once created the file can then be downloaded to your computer.

Company Bonus Sites Included, Some Vintage Sites.

A straightforward list of bonus sites is posted and it's easy enough to jump to any of them. There are about a dozen total with different niche focuses including other vintage/classic geared sites.

Other Good Stuff:

Content count ticker shows total number of movies and scenes on the site.
Length, description, and performer info for each movie.
Movies are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site.

The Cons

Average to Low Video Quality/Specs, One Format.

Vintage and classic content isn't a niche where I expect to find high-res movies so there is some leeway here. That being said WMV is the only format and the highest quality movies have below average specs for what I usually see from a paysite. Surfers who are sensitive to content specs will want to take note of this.

No Niche or Year Browsing, Text-Only Model Index.

The site layout and design is clean and straightforward with a text list of models, list of recent updates, and the ability to browse all movies or top picks. There's definitely room for improvement though. The model index would be much more useful if it had model preview thumbnails and the ability to browse by niche would help. Since we're dealing with classic titles it would be nice if they broke things down by year or decade which they currently don't do.

Fairly Slow Update Pace.

The member's home page has a log of recent updates and they tend to add anywhere from 2-3 new movies per month. That rate is pretty slow and I would expect at least one new movie per week from a site like this.

Minor Negatives:

Many movies don't have production year info posted.
Join page pre-checked cross-sells and some member's area upsells.

Bottom Line

Full-length classic 70's & 80's porn movies from Caballero Studios.

For fans of classic porn Caballero Classics has a lot to offer. The fact that it is a one studio collection is a real positive plus these are full-length movies and not just excerpted scenes. It's a fun collection to browse even for those who aren't classic porn enthusiasts. The negatives basically come from the fact that they could improve the video quality and navigation features. In reality those are weaknesses that are to be expected from a vintage site. The bottom line is they deliver an entertaining collection of movies that's pretty sizable with several hundred titles in all.
