Intro

We've seen a lot, if not all of the Playboy sites individually, but this review is for the Network as a whole. If you'd like to expand your collection of Playboy content beyond the magazine then this Network of 6 sites including Playboy's Sexy Wives, Women of Playboy, Playboy's All Naturals, Playboys Fresh Faces, and others, is just for you. A membership here will only set you back about $15 bucks per month and between the sites about 4 new updates can be expected each week.

The Pros

Network of Sites With Exclusive Playboy Content.

Less than $15 bucks per month and you gain access to Playboy Girls Network sites in all. Currently there are 6 sites total, many with more than 100 "Fresh Faces", "sexy Wives", "Busty Babes", etc. to check out in the 20s-30s age range. Some of these girls may not be Playboy Magazine material, but they sure are Playboy quality. Their youthful, yet mature appearance and sexy images/videos will keep you wanting more.

Smooth Site Design.

All the girls are listed along with some bio and content information along with 2 videos (one is an interview) and some photosets. Videos are offered in HD or SD formats, and the images can be viewed in large or medium sizes. Overall the site design is smooth and easy to browse. Users can browse each page individually but there is a model index that lists all the models within the Network.

Other Good Stuff:

Content quality is very nice, the videos especially. High format WMV videos stream as high as 3600k-4200k and look great. Downloaded images are nice looking and sized up to 1600 pixels.
Flash streams for the videos and zips for the image sets. iPod downloads are also available.

The Cons

Some Sites Don't Update Often.

Updates appear to be coming in often enough overall (about 4x per week), but not quite at the level of occurrence that we'd like to see for a Network. Sites like Fresh Faces & Student Bodies, for example, haven't been updated for 1-2 months.

More Browse Tools Are Need.

While the site looks nice, there minimal options when it comes to browsing around. The model index is a mere list without filtering tools. There are no content categories, or tools to browse the girls by age, shoot location, hair color, etc. Everything is a little too simple and doesn't give users enough choice in how to browse the Playboy Girls, and not even a way to browse them by each individual site.

Minor Negatives:

This applies to the older photo sets, I would have loved to have seen even larger format images. Both the girls and the photography are beautiful, so why not offer super large pics sizes without having to download the complete set.

Bottom Line

A classy Network the match the classy reputation Playboy has built over the years.

For an overall clean Network of sites featuring more than 500 gorgeous Playboy Internet models, Playboys Girls offers exactly what is promised. I would have liked to have seen larger images and more advanced user/browse features for the individual sites and the Network as a whole, as well as a clear update schedule. But the fact that you get access to about 6 quality Playboy sites for the low price of less than $15 bucks per month, you can't really complain too much.
