Intro

X-art.com is a sexy nude photography site offering "beautiful, explicit erotica"..."all shot with quality and clarity by Brigham Field and other top photographers." The style of the site and its content is clean, crisp and modern. Natural beauties from all over the world are shot in unique settings, cover some soft fetishes, toy-play and girl-girl scenes can also be found. Updates are added every Tuesday and Friday, adding to the current archive of content which offers 132 photo galleries, but no videos. A membership here will set you back less than $20 bucks per month.

The Pros

Awesome Artistic Photography

Most, if not all content here is shot by Brigham Field. The sets are consistent in style and quality. The photography truly is art from top to bottom. You almost feel like you're watching the photo shoot at the location. So much thought and detail was put into each location. They even describe where the shots are taken and the camera/settings that were used.

Updates Twice Per Week

There is a completely new photo shoot (with a new or existing model) released every Tuesday and Friday. According to the update log, updates are consistent and are always met. Each shoot has an average of about 40 images each.

Beautiful Model Index

The model index has a beautiful large thumb representing each girl. You can sort the index by name, rating, or age. Each model has a small bio with an option to send a private message plus a list of their shoots.

Raw Quality Images

The images are barely touched (if at all) which I prefer. There are 3 photo size options, the largest being about 4000 x 2600 pixel jpegs (averaging about 1MB). All shoots in portrait mode I assume for consistency. Images are usually crystal clear and lighting is spot on.

Top Caliber Nude Models

The other thing that stands out immediately are the gorgeous models. A mix of both American and European girls who are simply jaw dropping hot. You will only find all natural beauties without a mark on their skin or an ounce of fat! Seriously, they're all 10's and you'll fall in love with each model.

Other Good Stuff:

Behind the scenes blog with videos.
Reasonably priced at $20/month (as of this review).
Easy and attractive site interface. Very consistent with the artistic theme.

The Cons

Slim Content Compared to Competition

Although I don't think anyone will complain when they see the content, it's clear that the overall amount of content is a fraction of what you can find on other artistic sites like Met Art. Updates go back to October 2007, so it's still a fairly new site.

Minor Negatives:

The photo shoots have as little as 7 images! Most have at least 30, but you can tell the editor was very specific about publishing quality images.
This is nude art at it's finest. There are a few rare dildo sets, but otherwise no hardcore of any kind.
Video fans will be disappointed to find only images, although there are video streams in the Behind the Scenes section.
Site has member ratings/comments, but there isn't enough activity to make them worth anything.

Bottom Line

A small, but promising start to a nude photography site.

Fans of artistic erotic photography might enjoy the super high res images as well as the "high fashion" appeal of the content itself. The lovely models gracing the pages of X-Art are absolute turn-ons. The big negatives here are the small number of images per set (although that didn't bother me too much), but the overall small size of the content archive might be an issue for some. Right now I'd call this a small, but promising start to a nude photography site.
