Intro

Fem Dominas is up for review today, and I can't help combining the two words together to form a word that totally reminds me of a word Kramer used back in the Seinfeld days: femininas! That's basically what you have here is chicks who are in control. Most scenes offer up a guy and a girl, with the girl doing anything from humiliation, to bondage, to spanking the guy in all sorts of femdom action. It's part of the Fetish Network of sites, and you get access to everything for $30 a month, which is actually a discount for our users.

The Pros

Niche femdom content.

The theme here is definitely a big selling point. They offer up a pretty wide variety of femdom content, which could be both a good or a bad thing. It's good in that there's a lot of variety, so you should be able to find some scenes you like. However, it's also quite varied, so it may be harder to find those favorites in the middle of the others.

Network access included.

They offer free access to about 37 other sites included with your membership here. Plus, since it's called the Fetish Network, you can guess what kind of content they generally offer. A lot of the sites should interest you as long as you're a fan of other fetish material as well.

The Cons

Quality is not good here.

Everything from the pictures to the videos just needs work. Photos are quite small (under 800x600 at times), and look several years old in terms of quality. The videos are also quite small, and show many signs of compression. Everything just looks older than I expected here.

Doesn't seem to be growing much.

The photos stopped updating back in 2009, and they make no bones about that. The videos show regular weekly updates, but the final number doesn't grow that much. I'm not sure if they take off old scenes, rotate their content around, or just aren't really adding as much content as they say they are. None of the options are particularly pleasing.

Navigation isn't very good.

The site is just too plain for the kind of content they offer, and the size of the photo collection. They need to break some things down into categories to aid in finding specific content types at minimum, with some kind of tag/search feature setup.

Minor Negatives:

There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
There were quite a few older photo galleries not working for me for some reason. The page would load, but there would be no thumbnails or links to click around on.
This one is really strange. The streaming videos did not allow me to jump ahead at all, even when downloaded. I think this is due to my Quicktime setup on my computer. However, the same was true even for the videos I downloaded fully. The player made me watch the whole thing, in order, from start to finish (unless I just closed it). I don't get why that is at all, but it's probably some kind of codec issue. I assume if I ran into it, others may do the same.

Bottom Line

The niche content helps, but this site feels a little too generic for me.

I'm not sure if true fans of the genre will get very excited for Fem Dominas. The content feels a bit generic, and is lower in quality than expected. It might work better for someone just interested in some general fetish content, especially with the network access included. However, I think true fans will look for something a little more unique. Personally, I'd look for a few other upgrades as well to really get things going: a new site layout and design, more updates, more content, and higher quality (HD anyone?). As a site, it's definitely behind the times. I think the network access will help overall, but it's just not unique enough for me to get real excited about.
