Intro

Suicide Girls is a site with an attention-grabbing name and eye-catching alternative beauties. These aren't your typical nude models. The girls can be pierced, tattooed, have wild pink hair, extreme make-up, and experiment with usual themes. They also just have a helluva lot of self-confidence. The site is full of character and sexuality, and despite having a mostly softcore nature, the action never stops. Suicide Girls is more than just a porn site, it's also a community, which really adds to its unique appeal. Suicide Girls has even won accolades from the mainstream world, with MTV, Spin Magazine, and Wired Magazine all singing the praises of this deliciously erotic underground world.

The Pros

Very original and creative.

This is a site with personality. You see it everywhere, from the in depth model bios to the section descriptions and the people that make up this wild website. Along those lines, there is a real community here made up of both members and models. To get started you'll want to fill out your own profile with info on who you are, what kind of body mods you have, where you lost your viriginity, etc. Reading others' profiles is highly entertaining. There are some really interesting people on this site. Next you can interact. There are hundreds of member groups covering every topic imaginable and most of the groups are very active, with multiple posts daily. You can also chat on the message boards, keep a journal, hook up in the personals section, and even attend SG events worldwide.

Large collection.

Having been around for a while now, Suicide Girls is an impressively large site. They current offer 2,000 models in 247,000 pictures, along with 17,000 articles and over 31 million user comments. That's an amazing collection size for a niche site like this.

Some great-looking scenes!

The newest galleries impressed me the most. These large photos are very sharp and have so much style to them. The themes are so creative (Amina's baptism set was excellent) and erotic, I couldn't get enough of them. On top of that, they've got some great photographers shooting for them so the actual photos are gorgeous, as well.

Other Good Stuff:

Very inexpensive! Members is just $12 a month! That's an awesome deal.
Frequent updates. A new gallery is added daily and a new videos is added just about every day. Then there are the message boards which are constantly being updated by other members and models. There is really always something new to see here.
Lot of extras. They offer the aforementioned message boards, along with celebrity interviews, Pod Casts, articles, live chat, model blogs, and more.
Great design. The look of the site is very sexy and very alternative feeling. Loved the graphics and the text is incorporated into the site nicely.

The Cons

Content quality varies.

When you dig back into the collection, you'll see just how far the quality here has come. Older pictures are tiny, at 400x500, but then again they're 8 years old. There are also lighting issues and less professional style. The videos don't vary quite so much, since for some reason they only go back to 2008.

Weaker video section.

All of the videos play in Flash in your browser. There are no options to download them. There are also no other quality choices or fun tools. They're all just streaming videos that come together to resemble You Tube. I say this because it's a very random collection of videos, including videos of dogs and kids, along with penis piercing and naked rock climbing. The videos are very much secondary to the photos.

Minor Negatives:

No zip downloads for photos.

Bottom Line

A high quality, creative collection of alternaporn with a great community.

It's quite clear why Suicide Girls has the reputation it does as THE site for sexy alternative models and kick-ass community. They've got it all, a huge collection, daily updates, original and unique content, personality, interaction, and it's unbelievably inexpensive. What's not to like? Ok, it's not for everyone. Fans of big boobed blondes should probably move right along. But if you're in the mood for something different, you can't go wrong with Suicide Girls. Highly recommended!
