Intro

Black Sex Finder is up for review today, and this site is a dating site that focuses on hooking black people up together. They have all the usual attributes like a nice search, a messaging system, lots of profiles (over 125,000 people currently), etc. From there, it's up to you to get in touch with people, or just enjoy the content a bit. There are a few levels of membership that get you varying degrees of options, ranging from $10-$20 a month on average.

The Pros

Lots of members.

At least there are a lot of people on the site with profiles, and over 150 of them were online while I was browsing the site. I have no idea what the breakdown is of men vs. women, but it didn't look good for us guys overall.

Nice to have some kind of niche.

At least it's just another dating site with nothing unique. They focus on the black market, and try to have only black people listed. Of course, that presents its own problems. Can a white guy join who is looking for a black girl to date? Or vice versa? Or is it only for black people wanting to date other black people?

Other Good Stuff:

As expected, their search setup is pretty nice and lets you combine multiple fields together to find your perfect mate.

The Cons

Looks like lots of fake profiles.

Just looking around at some of the photos, profiles, and mail received on our test account, I can't imagine too many people are making genuine matches here on the site. Too many want you to email them somewhere else, probably to sell you on some other paysite that has nothing to do with finding a girlfriend.

Not much extra interaction going on.

Again, the basics are here with a messaging system, email system, etc. However, I was looking for some over-arching forums that tied everyone in together, like a gathering or meeting place. There's not a huge sense of community here, or other community activities at least.

Quality of content is horrible.

If you are here to view photos and videos, you're in for some of the worst content quality I've ever seen. Pictures are tiny (in the 300x200 range), while videos look like cell phone videos taken three years ago and uploaded via 1G network speeds or something.

Content is all at random; only able to view one pic at a time.

Again, if you're here to view content and can stand the low quality, the navigation is a pain as well. There are no galleries or video lists or anything; instead, it's more of a hot or not style rating system, so you see stuff at total random. You're stuck looking at whatever dude's ass pops up on your screen, which didn't work for me.

Minor Negatives:

The look and feel of the site isn't great. The design is quite plain, and everything feels a little cluttered.
If you're into watching and ranking the videos here, you can only view them in streaming format; no downloads are available.

Bottom Line

It's a pretty simple site overall that won't do a ton of good, but fills a niche I guess.

I have a tough time with dating sites in general, as I just don't feel there's much hope in actually talking to anybody real. It's that much worse on one of the smaller, less well-known sites, which I believe is the case at Black Sex Finder unfortunately. Sure, there are a lot of members, but the numbers are inflated by sham profiles, etc. The features they have are decent, but basic. I just wouldn't find much to do here that would make me want to pay each month, so it's a very tough sell. Even if you're just here to check out some content, most of it is stuff featuring males, and the quality and navigation are pretty horrible. I guess the site is a little different from the norm, but I just couldn't pay for this for very long personally.
