Intro

DesiPapa is an Indian video site with a big collection of downloadable movie scenes. The site is a bit of a catch-all in terms of Indian movies as they have foreign videos along with more standard content with Indian American performers. Desi has been around for more than a decade so it's a very well established site that just keeps going along doing its thing adding more videos without doing anything too flashy.

The Pros

Big Collection of Indian Videos, Lots of Hardcore Scenes.

Without a doubt DesiPapa's best asset is the sheer amount of videos. These are individual scenes and the total number tops one thousand. The length ranges from 5 to 25 minutes or so and the action is hardcore boy/girl for the most part along with other solo scenes and group scenes. Basically everything related to Indian is include with American and foreign movies so the models are a mix of western Indian looking girls and authentic middle eastern Indians.

Fast Download Speeds, Videos in Full-Scene WMV/AVI/MPG.

The movies are available in full-scene downloads with most in AVI or WMV format and then some others that are MPEG or other formats. File sizes range greatly from around 50MB to over 300MB so it is quite a mix. What stood out as a definite positive is the download speeds. I was getting 1.5-1.7MB for standard browser saving and my download manager (software: IDM) also functioned well. Either way saving the videos was a quick process and I was able to save a bunch of them in almost no time at all.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates are steady with one new video scene added daily. The member's home page has a log of recently added and upcoming movies.
The length in minutes is shown and they also have some basic niche tag categories which are clickable to locate simliar type scenes. Sections of 'Masala' and 'Most Viewed Scenes' are also available.

The Cons

Inconsistent Video Quality/Formats, Many Low Quality Movies.

There are no video choices here because each movie is only available in one format. While many are in AVI or WMV there are others that are in MPEG and I even ran into a couple in 3GP. The quality is average to low depending on the movie and some movies can be unimpressive looking and quite grainy. Surfers who like consistent movie formats and only high quality specs are likely to be frustrated by DesiPapa's set-up. No in-browser streaming format is offered.

Mish-Mash of Content, Some Scenes are Better than Others.

While the main strength of Desi is the big collection of movies they reached that point by including everything under the sun that is Indian related. Some of the scenes are entertaining and others aren't very good at all. Many fall somewhere in the middle. Basically it's a grab-bag of Indian porn and members will have to sift thru thing to find stuff they like.

Minor Negatives:

Navigation is basic without any real category browsing or model index of any kind. Considering the amount of content available there are few browse tools.
There are some upsells in the member's area with banner ad for other Indian sites.

The other

DesiPapa is strictly a video content site. They don't have any pictures galleries available.

Bottom Line

Lots of downloadable Indian videos with content that includes American & foreign porn.

DesiPapa is one of those unusual sites in that what's good and bad about the site are essentially the same things. The large archive of Indian movies is their best selling point however they got such a big collection by having a real mish-mash of content that has some fun movie along with other stuff that's weak and uninteresting. They have fast download speeds and full-scene files but the formatting is all over the place and offers no choices. One thing that's certain is that based on their track record of having been around for years and years DesiPapa will continue on as a well known entry in the Indian niche category.
