Intro

House of Gord calls itself "the home of ultra bondage" and is your friendly little spot on the Web where you can find bound and tormented women "for the mutual pleasure of all parties involved". With an archive of over 32,400 images and 540 videos, House Of Gord is clearly armed with enough content to keep you going in between the weekly updates. The price is a little steep ($31.95) as with most fetish sites, but there is some real original bondage & fetish content here that comes complete with an interesting storyline giving the site more personality than most.

The Pros

Unique & Extreme Bondage Content.

This is some extreme bondage content, all of which is exclusive, creative and well-executed. Things like "forniphilia", which I found out is sort-of like turning a woman into an item of furniture (maybe for the next house?), cocooning, caging & boxing, suspension, pony girls, and all sorts of other crazy stuff: latex, rubber, full plastic wrapping, fucking machines, etc. I could go on and on, but the point is, you won't find much else like this on the web. House of Gord is stock full of personality, with lengthy scene set-ups/story-lines for each shoot. It's almost like you're experiencing this with the girl as you go.

Newest Content Quality Looks Good.

With the newest videos being offered at 3000k (1280x720) these are certainly some HD specs and, although not the best HD quality I've seen, certainly good enough! Images really look nice too, semi-pro looking with still some of that amateur fetish flare. Currently they go up to 1200x800, although I'd like to see them go larger.

Lots of Content, Lots of Personality.

With archives dating back to 2001 there certainly is a lot to see here. Each scene comes with lengthy scene info, some model info and there is even a whole section that tells users about the different machines used on the site. Users can leave comments and ratings for each scene as well.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates are consistent (every 7 days) and on your downtime I'm sure you'll find the many videos and image sets entertaining enough to keep you going through the week.
Browse options include searching by model, machine, position, materials, activity and accessories used in each shoot, etc. Filtering click lists are used on the left-side margin of the member's area page.
Clear file size information is posted for each clip.

The Cons

Limited Viewing & Download Options.

More viewing/downloading options would be nice as well. When it comes to the older content, some videos are only offered in Real Media while others also offer Windows Media. They do offer high and low formats, which is nice. It should also be mentioned that there are no full-length download options. All scenes are broken down into clips and there is no in-browser streaming available.

Older Content Quality is Average to Below.

The overall quality of the content here, especially the older stuff is average. Images are perfectly sharp but only about 600x800 pixels in size. Even these days images could stand to be larger in size. Video quality wasn't always the best either but I'm loving the improvements in this area. House of Gord should really consider labeling their HD content so users know how great they can expect their downloads to look!

Minor Negatives:

Although they offer a model & machine index, they don't really give you any information about either. Instead links to the content featuring the model/machine is what you can expect. There is so much personality here, it would be nice to get a little more info about the models/machines.
he layouts while browsing the photo galleries could be better. They start off by trying to interweave the story into the thumbs, but then break up the gallery into too many pages.

Bottom Line

An interesting site that recently has stepped it up a notch with quality.

Point in case, you definitely come here for the unique type of content that is offered; some real unique specialty bondage stuff. The site has a ton of personality and I can't imagine someone who's into this type of thing being disappointed. What you see in the tour is what you get and even though getting around the site can be awkward at times, I guess its part of the personality, too. I would like to see a model index with bio information added, as well as labels for their higher quality video content. $31.95 is definitely on the higher end of the slope, but like so many other things, it's all relative.
