Intro

Mix It Up Boy is up for review today, and if you think about it enough, I bet you can guess what kind of content they offer here. Using the word "boy" is a great first clue, as they offer up some hardcore gay action. "Mix it up" refers to the interracial aspect of the site, which completes the big picture. They recently got rid of their whole original site and started over, which is an interesting move. They now offer HD videos (no photos) of interracial gay action, and are a pretty small, new site at this point. $20 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I'd expect for the site.

The Pros

Fun interracial gay scenes.

The content and scenes here are definitely one of the main reasons to check the site out. The niche isn't that unique or specific, but it's different enough to help them stand out for sure. Take two guys, put them in front of the camera, and make sure their skin is different from each other's. It just works.

All videos come in HD.

Granted, there aren't a ton of them, and the site is relatively new at this point, so high definition may be pretty expected. Still, it's great to see that all the videos here are offered in HD, which brings the quality up nicely.

Other Good Stuff:

Their content appears to be all-exclusive here. The guys can appear in multiple scenes, and the videos have a familiar feel to them.
The video download options are decent here, while keeping it simple. There are a couple WMV options, and a few MP4 options, which include options to download or stream on your mobile phone.

The Cons

Very small collection.

That there are just 10 videos here currently is what ultimately holds this site back the most. They recently wiped out their old collection and started over, which left them in the bottom 2% as far as content numbers. They need more content, and they need it now.

Minor Negatives:

The updates aren't dated here for some reason. The webmaster let us know that they add a new video scene each Friday, but I'd still like to see some proof and info online somewhere.
The streaming video is pretty small here unfortunately. Plus, it's not even really streaming; it does play in your browser, but you can only view what's already been downloaded and jump ahead to that point only.
While they have videos and vidcaps, there are no photo galleries here at all, which may disappoint some.

Bottom Line

The scenes, content, and quality are good, but they have a ways to go still.

Starting over is tough in anything you do, and at this point, Mix It Up Boy is basically a brand new site it seems. There's just so little to see, with about 10 scenes online currently, that you'll breeze through their offerings way too quick, and then be stuck with not a whole lot to do here. Updates do seem to come weekly, though they aren't dated, and even a few new scenes a month will leave you with a lot of waiting time. What they do have is decent here, with HD videos, and some fun niche scenes. If you like what you see, I think you'll enjoy what they offer. However, with the size of the site where it's at, it'd be a pretty tough decision for me on how long to stick around exactly.
