Intro

Porn Classics is a video site featuring videos from the 1970s and 1980s. This is vintage erotica remastered and brought back to life online. They've got it all, from popular hits like Deep Throat and plenty more you have have missed in your youth (Genie's Dirty Girls, Lollipop Palace, and The Lusty Adventurer, anyone?). Go back to a time when silicone was first getting its start and the bigger the hair the better.

The Pros

Unique content.

It isn't every day that we full bush, Farrah Fawcett hair, and spandex in a porn scene! Porn Classics offers up all the styles that we haven't seen in decades. Stars include favorites like Ron Jeremy, Nina Hartley, Ginger Lynn, John Holmes, and plenty more. It's awesome to have a resource like this where you can see how stars got their starts and revisit old favorites scenes.

Some good search tools.

They've got a handy search feature that allows you to select from a long list of categories for the girls and the scenes. The Advanced Search includes even more options. The model index also rounds out the navigational features nicely.

Other Good Stuff:

Members of Porn Classics also get access to all of the sites in the Filth Freaks network. 54 sites are included so there's plenty to see!
Readers of The Best Porn can join Porn Classics at a special discount price of $18 a month. The regular price is $30 so that's definitely a nice savings.
They've got a good-sized collection of videos. There are currently 192 DVDs online with a new one added every week.
Most of the movies provide plenty of info, like lengthy descriptions, category lists, and star lists.

The Cons

Average quality content.

These are movies that are 20-40 years old. They've been pulled off DVDs that were created from VHS. These aren't going to be the high quality videos that we're used to seeing. The scenes aren't sharp as all. Some have a gray tint to them, a lot have poor lighting. Compared to other similar sites, quality is fine, but it's just no up to today's standards.

Videos are streaming-only with no viewing options.

All of the videos play in your browser using Flash. There is no option to download them. There are also no extra streaming options. You're left to watch them in your browser only while accessing the site.

Minor Negatives:

There are no photos here; this is a video only site.
The site design could be better. There aren't really many graphics, just ads for other sites. It's a basic design that gets a little cluttered with outside links at times.
This isn't exclusive content. While the material is definitely not stuff you see every day, the fact is that the content can be found on other sites.
Star biographies would be a great addition. I'd love to know more about these performers and where they are today.

Bottom Line

An entertaining vintage collection of streaming movies.

Porn Classics has a solid collection for a trip down memory lane. There's a good amount to see here, and the network access and discount price make for a good value. I was mainly disappointed by the streaming-only videos. I don't expect super sharp vintage content, but I was expecting to be able to download the content. If you don't mind streaming, though, this is definitely an entertaining retro collection.
