Intro

Homemade Vids is a collection of amateur and submitted style video scenes with regular looking people in hardcore and solo action. The member's area isn't as flashy as the guest tour would make it seem as the member's section is simply an archive of video clips and shoot details and background info isn't provided like the tour makes it seem. With the tour set up with essentially one splash page a review and site content facts can be helpful in giving you a feel for how things look for members.

The Pros

Amateur Submitted Style Hardcore & Solo Videos.

Homemade Vids does have content that fits with their overall theme of amateur/submitted action. There are five main sections in the member's area: Homemade, Exhibitionism, Voyeur, Cams, and Photos. Far and away the Homemade videos section is the largest part of the site which makes sense. In there you'll find all sorts of blowjob, sex, and solo video clips with people who really do look like everyday folks. Most are younger and cute/attractive however there are some chunky and or middle aged ones in the mix too.

Big Collection of Video Clips & Photo Galleries Too.

The essence of this collection is that they have a large number of videos clips that are short in length. It's the exact opposite of an exclusive reality type site where they have a small number of lengthy and original episodes. Homemade Vids casts a wide net and builds it's quantity on sheer volume of content items which are mostly short video clips.

Other Good Stuff:

Download speeds are on the fast side as I was getting ~1MB/sec so it doesn't take long to save these 5-30MB files.
Photo galleries have zip files downloads available.

The Cons

Video Quality is Poor, Most Movies are in Low Spec AVI Files.

One area where Homemade Vids really struggles is in the video quality and formatting arena. This jumped out as the biggest negative right off the bat. The bulk of the movies are in AVI files that come in around 320x240 200k. There is some variation with WMV but only one format is offered per video and they're very low quality overall. No in-browser streaming format is available.

Mixed Bag of Content, Short Videos & No Details on the Shoots.

The reason the number of videos and photo galleries are so large is that this is a real grab-bag of amateur submitted porn. Things vary a lot from scene to scene in terms of what the action is like, the entertainment value, and performer attractiveness. They don't have any descriptions or other info on the items which makes them feel a bit stale.

No Update Info, Appears Site Has Stopped Updating.

There aren't any update details and based on our TBP content fact managers the collection hasn't changed really in the last year leading up to this review. Apparently it'll just remain as-is on into the future without any more growth.

Minor Negatives:

There is no categorization or browse tools other than large general categories like Homemade, Exhibitionism, Voyeur, and Cams.
No video size, length, or spec info is shown on the movie files.

The other

There is a small section in the member's area about submitting content and monthly prizes. The details are very sparse and there isn't even a contact link amont the info which makes the whole thing even more questionable. Their email address is actually found on the guest tour.

Bottom Line

Lots of amateur submitted style content with a mixed bag of stuff.

Homemade Videos main asset is the fact that the content does fit well into this submitted amateur niche which isn't always the case for sties like this. The main negatives are the lack of video quality and options along with the hit-and-miss content that doesn't have any consistency.
