Intro

Daring Sex is up for review today, and this is the official site of the production company with a similar name. While they don't offer a ton of actual daring-type sex (no sky diving anal going on here), they do actually provide some unique content. I'd call their porn shoots higher-end in terms of quality and production value. They seem to take a little more time and effort, and it shows. Just $10 a month gets you in the site, which is a very nice price setup just for our users through a special discount.

The Pros

Some pretty unique scenes here.

I'd say the claim to fame for Daring Sex is just the way they shoot scenes, and how the end product turns out. These feel like mini-films at times, and there's just a higher production value than you usually see on porn sites. It's hard to put it into words, so checking out some previews may be your best bet.

Other Good Stuff:

$10 a month is a great way to start your relationship with the site here. That's not even a special discount for our users only - it's just their standard price.
Some of the newer videos offer an HD streaming option. I hope this takes over their site, as the videos look a lot better than their SD counterparts. The only bummer here is the lack of downloads for that quality level.
I assume their content is at least 100% original here. They clearly shoot all their own material. The only question I can't answer is how tightly they hold the rights to their DVDs.

The Cons

Needs some growth overall.

With just over 100 scenes (from 20 DVDs), it's not very large for a DVD site at all. Many paysites we review offer more content, and even the 146 photo scenes can't save them. Once they have a few hundred scenes up, we'll really be talking.

Minor Negatives:

Downloads are only offered in WMV format here. They do offer two quality options, but for a video-based site like this, I think they need more types and options.
The download channels from my download manager didn't fully activate at times, making downloads a little slower than expected at times. It would start with just a single channel, and then take up to a minute to fully engage.
The few HD videos they have up are streaming-only unfortunately. You can download the scene, but only in SD quality.
The updates are a bit of a question mark at this point. There were three new scenes last week, but around a month between updates before that. To be fair, all the other content here is dated about a month ago, so the site may have just launched then. Hopefully they can get regular, frequent updates coming in going forward.

Bottom Line

I like the scenes and porn here, but I'd really love if there was more to see.

Daring Sex has some great content, and that will always carry them far without doing much else. The scenes definitely show more production value than most porn mills out there that go for pure numbers. The few new HD streaming videos look good, but I'd love to see them downloadable as well. Where they really falter is just in quantity, which may be the nature of the beast here. Updates are iffy (several new scenes came last week, but it was a month with nothing new before that), so future growth is a question mark at this point. If they could beef the updates and content counts up, plus add a few more features/options (both navigation and downloads), we could definitely have a great site on our hands. They just have a solid foundation of content, which will always take them far as I mentioned.
