Intro

Pawn Your Sextape works on the premise that users are encouraged to shoot and send in homemade videos in return for the chance to win some cash. Then, if you want your tapes back, like a pawn shop you have to give back the money in exchange for your footage. I don't know how they manage to find willing participants to be honest, but the idea of it is fun and they've got a sizable archive of amateur content already with more than 124 videos, 41 image sets and a handful of model pages. A membership will set you back about $25 bucks per month, but also gives access to another 2 sites within the MadPorn Network.

The Pros

Unique Site Idea & Exclusive Amateur Content.

I love the idea of this site, but I wonder how well it works for them. I can imagine it's hard to get people to shoot 5 hours worth of content and then upload it. But for what there is in the member's area right now, it's easy to appreciate the current 12 or so couples that have sent in footage. The amateur sex in photo/video content is truly enjoyable to watch.

As a part of the MadPorn Network, your membership here also gives access to another 2 sites. These sites are all easily accessible from the main member's area pages.

Quality Can Look Pretty Good.

For homemade amateur content, video quality and image sizing is surprisingly nice for many of the shoots. Video bitrates can be seen as high as 2400k and many of the images are nice sized too. Of course there is a lot of poor lighting or fuzziness in quality, but overall I think the quality is impressive.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates aren't exactly consistent, but they are added often enough.
Model pages list the girls in alphabetical order. Quick stats are given along with preview shots that link to the content. I would have enjoyed more information about both the amateur models that make up each couple.
The "Cash Payout" rating system is unique, and makes getting involved more fun. Flo from Moscow, Russia was my favorite model.
Keyword tags offer categorical browsing of content with filters for type of content and one or all of the Network sites.

The Cons

Not a Large Site on It's Own/Not All Content Fits Theme.

So far there are 12 couples who have participated by sending in footage. Each couple has anywhere from 6-10 videos and a handful of image sets. A lot of the older videos seem a bit more random and not true to the "Pawn Your Sex Tape" theme. They are still enjoyable amateur sex videos nonetheless.

Quality Ranges Some. Picture Quality Can be Lacking Color/Fuzzy.

All content is extremely amateur in style, therefore picture color and sharpness are often times lacking. Older content quality is not quite as good as some of the newer additions.

Minor Negatives:

Beware of trial membership which recurs at a much higher price per month.
It would be nice if updates offering HD quality videos were labeled as such.

Bottom Line

An amateur sex site with a clever theme and some entertaining videos.

I have some mixed feelings about Pawn Your Sextape. While the site wasn't an overall homerun for me, I did enjoy a lot of the newer videos that offered a series of clips shot and sent in by couples. Those were probably the most fun to watch while a lot of the older content simply hit on the amateur theme. Overall quality is highly amateur, but not poor. Updates are added often enough to keep you entertained and the additional site access provided by the MadPorn Network is a nice bonus. Site design could still use some smoothing out, but for now getting around is simple enough. Hopefully Pawn Your Sextape keeps up with the theme because I think true fans of amateur content will have a lot to enjoy here.
