Intro

Francine Dee has a solo girl site that falls into the individual model category rather than either of the amateur or pornstar niches. This is because she's a model that, along with this site, does professional modeling work like calendars, magazines, car shows, videos, DVDs, etc. At the same time she doesn't do porn type hardcore or masturbation but is more of a solo glamour performer and that's the content style featured on this site. The guest tour has a nice layout in that the navigation bar, content sections, and bio/resume info are all available for previews with an identical set-up to how the member's area is organized. From this you can get a feel for both Francine and the site itself.

The Pros

Sexy Asian Model, Sizable Pic & Vid Archive Going Back a Decade.

Francine is a Filipina and Chinese girls and I'd say along with the glamour angle her Asian ethnicity is one of the main secondary niches of her site. Her content collection has hundreds of photo galleries and over one hundred videos as well. Most impressive is the track record as she has material dating back to the late 90's. With so many porn sites and especially solo models that come and go this is commendable. The collection features a whole bunch of Francine in all sorts of solo performances including indoor and outdoor setting and ranging from studio glamour style shoots and more raw behind-the-scenes amateur stuff.

Interaction thru Live Webcam Chats, Journal, Video Blog,& House Ca

After pictures and videos solo models will often have interaction features which can really add value to the content. Francine has a mix of these and they include live cam shows, a text journal (with pics sometimes), video blog postings (some are quite fun/creative), and house cams. There are also biography and Tear Sheet (i.e. resume) pages so she pretty much covers all the bases for personality features.

Nice Quality Newer Pictures, Gallery Zips for All Sets.

The photos are more numerous making them the centerpiece of the member's area content. They also have better options and quality. Images sizes have gotten larger over the years with newer ones coming in around 1200x800 or so and many sets have very crisp/sharp images. Looking back in the archive I noted that all galleries have zip files for downloading which is a nice touch and helps to enhance the value of the picture collection.

Other Good Stuff:

Galleries/videos are date-stamped with update information showing when they were added to the site. The member's home page also has a detailed update log.
Download speeds on the site are quite fast.

The Cons

Only Low Quality MP4s for Downloads, Flash is Main Video Format.

While the picture galleries have the gallery zips which are a plus the video formatting really does leave something to be desired. In-browser Flash streaming is the main content item and as a secondary option there are low quality MP4 files labeled as portable files (PSP/iPod). The video journal postings are only in the streaming Flash without any downloading options. The movie set-up definitely stands out to me as the most significant negative here.

Pic/Vid Sections are Mixed Bags of Content, No Sub-Categorization.

Picture and video sections show 6 content items per page with an archive breakdown by time period (usually in 2-3 month increments or so). With so much material that is quite varied with different styles the lack of organization makes navigating around a bit hit-and-miss. This is especially true of the photo section which has about five hundred galleries that can only be browsed in chronological order.

Video Section Gets Sporadic Updates, Overall Updates are Average.

Francine's long term track record is a positive but narrowing the focus to a shorter span makes the updates seem average or in the case of the videos below average. Normally the gallery section will get a new addition every week but the videos are intermittent and leading up to this review there has only been four movies added this year (and the year is more than half over).

Minor Negatives:

Francine's webcam show info can be behind schedule. She has an announcement for the next show and at the time of this review the date shown had past.
Francine's written journal averages about one or two entries per month however gaps of several months can occur.
Older content has noticably lower quality/specs than the newer material.

The other

There are some additional random content items like contests (i.e. Win a Date with Francine in Hawaii), art gallery, girlfriend galleries, etc.

Bottom Line

This sexy Asian model has a nice archive of content & interaction features but the video formatting is a negative.

Francine's is one of those sites that has some characteristics that jump out at you on both the positive and negative sides. The long history of the site is something that's pretty rare to see and I like the photo archive with its zip files. The videos are fewer in number compared the pictures and the formatting is rough and not user-friendly for those who want high quality downloads. Overall though with the interaction features she has in place to go along with the pics/vids this is a pretty solid solo model site.
