Intro

Right away Gods Girls gives the impression of a sexy Goth site with some of your loveliest alternative beauties. They promise multiple daily updates, which seems almost impossible for an alternative site. That aside, even the tour makes me want to jump inside to catch a glimpse of these hardcore babes. I think one of the coolest things about Gods Girls, and the reason why they're able to update so often, is that this is an actual community of people in addition to the beautiful images and videos, with a monthly membership only costing $20 bucks.

The Pros

Colorful Community & Lots of Personality.

This site screams personality. From the community members' pages to the news blogs, forums, chat, and even the 4,000 photo shoots and 180 videos that offer up a dose of something extra special. These girls are young and clearly into alternative lifestyles that reflect who they are in an artistic way through body art, hair color, and even in their choice of poses and shoot stylings. A membership here is cheap, and the site encourages you to get involved by creating a profile, posting blogs and taking part in the community.

Good Viewing/Download Options.

Images are simply beautiful and offered in 3 size formats, with the largest running around 800x1200 pixels. The videos are also quite fun, and although the picture size is rather small, the streaming quality looks good at times. They stream or can be downloaded for QT/WMV in high & low formats, as well as an option for your iPod.

Good Navigation.

Your tour is your member's area, so to speak. They're set up one and the same. Browsing options include sorting options for all of the content & the girls, although I would have liked to have seen a search feature and content categories in addition.

Other Good Stuff:

Large daily updates. It looks like they average two new galleries every single day. When you also factor in all of the interactive features, there's always something going on on God's Girls.

The Cons

Quality Could Be Better.

Video quality ranges and could be better. Some videos only offer bitrates up to 300k-600k. These days specs are coming in closer to 1200k, which is nice, but all around there is room for improvement. Even the image sizing could be larger. When offering 3 image formats, an even larger option would be preferable over the standard 1200x800 currently offered.

Minor Negatives:

While the image section gets updated daily, the video section sees far fewer updates than that, with weeks in between at times.
Not enough scene info. It really surprised me to find no descriptions for any of the scenes. This is a site with so much personality otherwise, but it's really lacking here.

Bottom Line

Fun chicks, colorful content and community at a decent price.

Gods Girls is a fun & unique site that boasts a rather large and interesting community of people interested in the artistic world of alternative culture. The images were refreshing but the videos lacked the same consideration in quality, unfortunately. In general, though, the amount of user options was an added bonus to this active community and the low price tag of only $20 bucks per month makes for a real incentive to join in the fun.
