Color Climax is a Danish site and production studio that claims to be the leading force in Pornography in Europe for close to 30 years. In fact, they have actually been producing porn out of their Denmark studios since 1967 and are one of Europe's most popular adult magazines. You would think with all those years behind them and all those studios that they'd have an enormous amount of content. While a lot of this content is available on DVD, in terms of Internet access, this is it! Not only will you find great hardcore classics and vintage porno but some current day content as well.

While they may not have the options down in terms of file format, Color Climax does offer a very nice looking QuickTime streaming player along with the option to download each scene as a full-length file.
Good Organization & Daily Updates.
After more than 30 years in the business its no wonder Color Climax offers a collection as large as it does. While some of the updates appear to be rotations of old content, the numbers are growing and something "new" is added to the member's area daily.
Other Good Stuff:
A model index, magazine index, search tool, and consistent categorical sections make this large site easy to manage. The search tools allows users to filter through one or more Studios & specifics like: hair color, boob size, fisting, anal, etc.
Many photos(sets) offer a link to a "full story". These are lengthy scene descriptors and a great read. They offer not just additional information to the content, but additional personality overall.
More content can be found in Color Climax's Signature Series content, including photosets and a biographies of some of their most loved pornstars including Anna, Gigi, and John Holmes.
Although it ranges, quality actually looks pretty good considering the age of some of this content.

The Cons

It's rare these days for sites to only offer one file format type for their videos. In fact, even if they do, most sites rely on WMV files. A few additional formats would be nice, along with different options for quality formats. Since the streaming option is also QT, users must wait for the scene to load in order to jump around. Flash is the preferred method of streaming.
VIP Features Reserved for Recurring Members Only.
This is something that's noted on the join page and it is not something that's found on many paysites. Basic monthly membership does get you access to the vast majority of content but things like gallery zip files, downloadable bestseller movies, and iPod format videos are held back for VIP members.
Quality Varies And Isn't As Sharp For the Older Content.
This is a given for a site with content dating back to the 70s and 80s, but worth mentioning. Scanned in 35mm magazine images show their age, and the fact that they're obviously not digital, but I didn't mind this much. Video quality can be inconsistent at times in terms of compression/pixilation, but overall the quality is quite good regardless.
Minor Negatives:
The model index does not offer preview thumbs of the models/text only, making the list limited to users who know the name of who they are looking for rather than browsing by preview pic.

Color Climax is the only place you'll find all these great Studios, Magazine issues and etc online. The overall site design shows it's age some, but is well organized and gets the job done. Users should have no problem navigating the content, it just might take some time getting used to. Adding preview thumbs to the model index would be a good addition, as would multiple format types for the videos. I did see that a mobile section of the site is being offered, which is great! I'd love to see this section of the site expand. Since our very first review here back in 2004, the amount of content has not only continued to grow, but the price of admission has remained the same, making this a good value for fans of hardcore European porno content & magazine issues.
