Intro

X-Art is an erotic glamour photography site with an exclusive collection featuring sexy models in softcore, girl/girl, and boy/girl shoots. The high-resolution niche is also in play as both the pictures and videos are all available in ultra high quality levels. The site used to be titled BeautyIsDivine.com but they have rebranded themselves with the X-Art name which is well suited to what they offer and seems a bit catchier. The guest tour side of things shows visitors a whole lot in terms of previewing the content, models, and site layout. What you see there is very representative of what's available to members.

The Pros

Exclusive Artistic Glamour Content, Softcore & Some Hardcore.

There is a definite artistic eroticism to X-Art's shoots with a professional style that comes through in all the shoots. You'll find different backdrops and settings along with things like the occasional black-and-white set. Unlike some other glamour sites X-Art does feature things like toy play, masturbation, and hardcore with both girl/girl and guy/girl action. This adds a nice and somewhat unexpected element to the content that enhances the entertainment value - it's good to see.

Ultra High-Res Pictures w/ Zips, HD Quality WMV/MOV Videos.

In this way X-Art benefits from the fact that they have shoots going back for just a few years. This allows them to have consistency in terms of quality and format options. The pictures are awesome with the highest res on each shoot at 4000x2667 and the smaller images at 1200x800. There is a medium size as well with zip files offered for each quality level. The videos are in HD in both WMV and MOV formats along with a medium quality level. All are full-video files and can be downloaded through standard browser saving or using a download manager.

Professional Site Design, Model Index & Behind-the-Scenes Blog.

The layout and design is sharp and fits well with photography content of this kind. The model index can be sorted by name, popularity, or age. The behind-the-scenes blog has archives organized by month/year and the items there include text, photos, and videos. This does add some nice personality to the site.

Other Good Stuff:

Updates are consistently made three times per week. Each shoot is clearly date-stamped with update details showing when it was added to the site.
The models are beautiful and are a mix from both the U.S. and various European countries.
The $19.95/mo price isn't bad and is somewhat lower that what I was expecting.

The Cons

Collection Isn't All That Large, Just a Couple Hundred Photo Shoots.

X-Art has content listings that date back to late 2007. With a few weekly updates that has allowed them to grow a bit however in the grand scheme of things they do have less content than many of their competitors. Competition is pretty stiff among high-res photography sites and many other sites out there have similar style models with significantly deeper archives.

No Dedicated Section for the Videos, Not a lot of Video Content.

Based on the updates page it seems like X-Art got into the video game a bit late. They have a couple years worth of shoots with just videos and it's been more recently that they have worked movies into the site. There isn't many movies and they are fairly short in length. One thing that's missing is a dedicated videos page for members to browse just those items. I found myself having to do a 'find' search on the updates page to locate them.

Minor Negatives:

The update page is very long and unweildy with lots of scrolling required. They should implement some sort of breakdown by year and month.
There is no serach or filter tool to locate models by physical characteristic (hair color, breast size, country of origin, etc.) or shoot by type (solo, toy, boy/girl, etc). The only thing like this is age sorting on the model index.
The downloadable movie files and gallery zips do not have any file size information posted.

The other

X-Art formerly went by the site name BeautyIsDivine.com.
Members can rate the shoots/models on a 10-star scale and/or post feedback comments. There area nice amount of ratings and postings on many content items.

Bottom Line

Impressive high-definition content of sexy models in softcore & some hardcore scenes.

X-Art has most of the characteristics you'd expect from a high-res photography site. The content is weighted towards pictures over videos and softcore over hardcore however the inclusion of some hardcore is noteworthy. That the one thing you'll get here that isn't available on many other sites like this. On the flip side the amount of content is only average and they specifically need to work on adding more videos to bulk up that part of the site. All told the positives stand out much more than the negatives as this is a quality site for surfers looking for an erotic high-res collection with exclusive content.
