Intro

Bonus Boy Sites is up for review today, and this is a network that features six gay sites for your enjoyment. One of them is mostly just a list of feeds and stuff, so I'd really consider it five sites overall. There are a couple sites that focus on jacking off, and a couple that offer more hardcore action. The network as a whole is pretty disconnected, as there's no real coherency in terms of the sites. They all look and feel quite different from each other. The cost is pretty high at $35 a month, but you get a decent amount of content for that at least.

The Pros

Pretty large collection.

At around 775 scenes total across all their sites, they have a decent amount of content to check out. Updates come often, so the numbers should continue to grow quite quickly. If you can get into a couple of their sites, you should have a lot of material available to you.

Exclusive gay content.

Of course, just offering exclusive gay content is a big step in getting people interested. They have a wide variety of material here, but mostly stick to guys jacking off or fucking a friend.

Other Good Stuff:

When you look at updates as a whole, they come pretty often here. I counted six new scenes added in this past week. Three were on a single site (Broke Straight Boys), while each of the other sites had a single update (except HS Boys, which is just feeds).
Some of their sites are now offering HD videos for their latest updates. I only saw it on two sites currently, but it's a step in the right direction.

The Cons

No central network setup.

Each site has its own member's area, and there's no way to browse the network collection as a whole. They could really benefit from a model's index, search feature, etc. Everything is much too separated and different from each other right now.

Quality varies a lot; can be bad.

Some of the newest updates come in HD, and some other new update come in very small videos. Many are quite average in terms of quality, or slightly below. You just never know what you're going to get from one site to the next here. I'd love the quality to be bumped up as a whole, and everything to be on a similar playing field.

Each site is very different in terms of options, features.

You go to one site, and they have four quality options, including HD. They'll come in both WMV and MP4, and things are good. Then another will have a full-scene MPG, and WMV parts. The next will throw Real Video into the mix, and one other finally offers Flash streaming. Why are they all so different??

Minor Negatives:

Getting around between each site is a huge pain, mostly because you have to re-enter your login details each time.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
Streaming Flash video is only available on 1-2 sites at best here. The others don't offer any streaming option that I saw.

Bottom Line

There is some okay content here, if you can find it, but it needs some updating.

It's pretty tough to write a review on the network as a whole here since each site is so different. Some offer HD content, while others offer some of the worst quality I've seen in a while. As a whole, they offer a lot of material, update almost daily, and offer fast downloads. From there, it's really hit or miss as to what you'll get on each specific site. They don't offer a full network browse or search feature, they don't offer streaming videos, they need a redesign for most sites, and quality needs work in the big picture. The price is also a tough pill to swallow. If you can concentrate on the numbers and updates and enjoy it for what it is, you could probably find quite a few scenes you enjoy here. However, they could do so much better with a fresh start to keep everything more consistent.
